And yet some received calls from him working with Ryan regarding renewals? Maybe not as clear as you think? Or of course I may have been misled in which case apologies to all

Like to know who they are. JR never made calls when he was there to my knowledge.
Ihave been in the ground, doing or planning jobs since before Christmas, had meetings with Ryan, no JR. Seen Ryan 3 times in last week, seen Fyan at games, no JR.
Spoken to JR himself on a few occasions since November, he's not involved unless Ryan asks for advice and as you know from interviews Ryan has said he is his own man.
No JR unless of course you count watching games by ifollow!
    Nothing to see here.

Suppose McCall was a great footballer for us but some would say shite manager.

Rhodes was a shite owner and real bad CEO.

Doesn't matter if you are Bradford through and through if you are shite at what you do. The famous 5 year bollocks by @wetherbywhaler@wetherbywhaler but Rhodes selling to Rupp set this club back 10 years never mind the 5 years rubbish blamed on Edin.

Hindsight is a wonderfull thing Fordy. When Julian and mark sold the club, we all thought it could be the start of something good, how wrong we were . Edin did untold damage to the whole fabric of the club and then we have had covid , that does take time to turn around , especially when finances are tight,

Two things you omit Park - McCall was at Leeds as youngster before he was released and did he not live in Leeds so it would be natural to support his home city club. Does or has Mr Rhodes lived in Leeds ?

This is true but it was always clear Rupp had the cash and he’s been an epic fail in taking this club forward on and off the pitch like Rhodes might have wanted or thought.

Like we all want. I can not name my source, he is not directly involved with the club, but had a good insight and rahic left a bloody mess. if i was Rupp, i am not sure i would still be around trying to clean it up, so some credit must be due. Also his time at the club is not over yet. He might yet be a success as owner.

Unfortunatly Rahic was a disaster from the moment he stepped into Valley Parade, not merely financially but he also ran roughshod over sponsors, owners/directors at other clubs who had previously held Bradford City in highesteem.
It's just a shame Stefan was prepared to believe the stuff Rahic was telling him until it was too late by the time he was told the truth by two fans.

Captain the ship that he had sold to the Iceberg in the first place! If JR is involved at City this club will never recover. He has overseen the decay of our club from the moment he took full charge. The further he is away from VP the better.

If true, it took Parky one meeting to decide Rahic was enough of a nutter for him to clear his office. Obviously the £££‘s waved in front of Rhodes & Lawn acted like some kind of hallucinogenic, that turned Rahic and Rupp into Ghandi & Dalia Lama...

Julian is capable of doing the day to day running of the club - he's had plenty of experience of that. If we suddenly needed someone to make sure that things kept going in the short term, he would be the perfect fit - which is pretty much what he did after Rahic left.

What Julian isn't, is the guy to set medium to long term strategic direction. Our trajectory under him has been consistently downwards.

Cracking bloke, biggest City fan in the world, but not someone you want in charge other than on a short term caretaker basis.

Let’s not go there again mate on the 5 year rubbish. Coventry and Blackpool, both with mass boycotts one still not at their own ground both got promoted at the first attempt from this god awful division. Bolton the same who have only recently been out of admin. Those at the top weren’t that interesting in going straight back up, or if they were they had no clue how.

This is where I feel sorry for Bowyer, yes his football was boring but he had no proper coaching team and had to use Drury as his number 2 or scouting/recruitment team as Sparks said the other week. I think he’d have got us up first time as he did with Blackpool if he had but was thrown under the bus by having to settle for what the club had. I can see Salford going straight up this season they won’t leave him short like we did.

Let’s just hope the new guy is backed with a proper coaching set up like Sparks said, because he said himself back room staff and fitness etc. are tinpot. If we were so desperate to go up at the first attempt these changes would have been made then. But we sold around 13,600 season tickets so Rhodes and Rupp probably thought what’s the rush.

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with a plan, but Rahic left when we were still in league 1 with a lot of the season left. For our ambition to be in the same league in 5 years but top half is pretty wet to say the least.

Nothing wrong with a plan but in football its about winning.

Man Utd, Liverpool, Man City even Spurs don't say we plan to win the league in 5 years. Football is about winning.

The plans are off the pitch.
