Alarm bells ring for me he has length left on his contract and has stated a manager needs to finish the contract he has signed not sure what conclusion to draw from that no guarantees he will gain promotion with us next season which should be the minimum requirement, then what !!!!

I wonder why Derek Adams would ever consider joining the poison chalice known as Bradford City.. dont get me wrong id love for him to be here but I think It would be a bad career move for hiim, we are on a downward spiral, potentially looking at conference within 2 seasons.

Because if Adams can turn our fortunes around and get another promotion on his CV that will be pretty impressive.

 

Or potentially in the championship in 2 seasons , or division 1 or the same league. Bradford city has more potential than most teams in the bottom 2 divisions. That is a good enough reason for most potential managers.

 

Don't see much chance of that. If he can get us out of this division, I can accept what I think will be dreary football. He will then have improved his CV which should help him achieve his aim of getting back to the Scottish premier. We hopefully will be in a position to build further.

This is exactly it. He’s not even our manager yet our local press is speculating the players he will sign - it’s embarrassing and will be even more so if he doesn’t sign.

If he’s already signed then wait for the club to officially announce it then speculate as much bull sh*t as you like.

 

I reckon Adams will be nipping a bit if it's not all signed. After that effort on Saturday, I reckon a Spanish "choker" might be up for grabs soon .
