I was stood more in disbelief and shock at the ones clapping. Not even sure why I turned up to that game to watch a team of gutless spineless players.

 

What the hell is an unhappy clapper?

 

Whatever you wish to say about underperforming or whatever, your take is akin to booing whoever comes last at the London marathon.

I don't really like your stance. If you don't want to clap, don't, maybe even leave early - but if you stated til the end, you stayed to send off the players who at least tried.

and that's you're prerogative, of course, just in the same way others choose to clap at the end of a game for whatever reason.

I know this there are a lot of moaning twits who pick on a player the first time a shot or a pass goes astray.as for happy clapping after defeat or relegation although it’s a team game there can be players who have given there all and don’t deserve to be in a relegation team and there is nothing wrong in showing appreciation to them

 

Absolutely agree. It pains me when people turn on fellow Bradford City fans, slagging them off. If this is what they're happy to do to people who share their cause, God only knows how much they abuse other folks.

 

We all have different views on the club, the way forward, the CEO, the players et al and it's brilliant we have this forum to share them. But sometimes on here total disrespect to fellow fans does my head in. Yep, we can all disagree on everything and enjoy the right to say it. But for ffs, let's moderate the name calling and abuse to fans who are just like you - they support and care about Bradford City Football Club.

The term "Happy Clappers" is used by faceless individuals who use the "cloak of anonymity" that this forum affords them. ( quite good that eh? thought it up myself).
Fordy is a good example of how to conduct oneself, he disagrees with most fans point of view but doesn't generally resort to name calling.

This fans forum has a touch of Monty Python about it sometimes. Showing our age a bit here chaps.

 

Happy Clapper isn’t a name unique to this forum it is used across w lot of platforms including Facebook where anonymity isn’t the same.

As for the second part, it might be threats and actual bans that have stopped it
