1903 Club

Nobody said it would automatically go to boost transfers, the income streams have to cover a lot of outlays, but the transfer budget will be dependant on what money the commercial department can squeeze out of the supporters and businesses. The more money Sparks raises the better budget 'Adams' will have.

 

I've never had a season ticket (not lived in the City for 38 years)
Emailed the ticketing office to find out what can be done. Hope they respond by the end of July cut off date!

 

I'd pay extra for a mug if it was included in the "1903" package. Could even put Rupps face on it!

 

Huge failure under Rupp without a doubt. Taking/Taken the club backwards with Rahic.
In my utopian mind, if the club becomes more sustainable and less reliant on Rupp, then IF a new buyer(s) come along, potentially could the financial noose that is Rupp be lesened and the parting of the ways occur?

 

It's like the UK taxation system. It all goes into the same pot, National Insurance, which is supposed to be for pensions etc, isn't ring fenced to just pay for that but added to the total tax take.

 

If you order this at the ticket office can you pick it up or does it have to be sent

 

No idea, but you can buy a scarf in the shop for a tenner and Sanitiser at B&M for 50p

Posted. The £4.95 postage fee is Mandatory. Wouldn't surprise me if they didn't get sent directly from manufacturers

The king of bitters. The pint in the Ling Bob is a thing of beauty, and strangely far far better kept than in both the Brown Cow (Bingley) and the Woolly Sheep (Skipton), both of which are pubs actually owned by Taylors Brewery.

 

Got a reply from the club with my membership number. I can now log in. However, they seem to have stopped the postal option, and it just shows "collect". Obviously not much use to me.

Don't they want my money?!

 

I used to like the Ling Bob in the couple of years I had a house in Wilsden around the year 2000. Last I heard it had changed hands 2-3 years ago and they were concentrating on the food side.

Certainly a much better pub that the Bell down the road (now back to being called the New Inn). The landlord at the time was hard work, he was an odd ball. One of the last times I was in there was an almighty brawl and a bloke had a pool cue smashed round the back of his head. I’d only gone in for a couple of quiet pints.

 

Anyone received their 1903 stuff yet? I bought tickets and 1903 stuff on Monday and I still haven’t had a confirmation email for either.

 

Now I got an email, saying everything will be posted out, and the admin team will contact me for payment details. Seems a bit of a faff. Why can't it all be done at the same time?

Food and beer are good. The landlord in the new Inn currently is strange as well.
