    Yet everything said this weekend indicates we are on track for full release of restrictions by 21st June. You seem to be totally on your own with this view, good luck listening to Radio Leeds on match days. It's almost as if you are hoping we can't go back.

    I’ve heard that there’s a lot of new non season ticket holders signing up to the direct debit season ticket. Over a 1000 season tickets sold already.

    I think until we get the feedback of the pilot events its hard to know for sure. I'm on a webinar this week which will be feedback from the pilots, so that will be interesting to hear.

    Public health must come ahead of anything else. Barely a third of the population have had both jabs, therefore it's far too early to be having some of the conversations that are going on here, as annoying as that may be.

    It will be the 2022/23 season before we can even think about speculating of a full capacity, so this coming season must be treat with absolute caution in a COVID-secure manner.

    As things stand today, by the time the new season starts in August the vast majority of 'at risk' adults will have been double vaccinated, along with a significant proportion of the less at risk population.

    Also, as things stand at the moment, the vaccines are highly effective against all the known variants. And don't be too concerned about the 'low' percentages you have seen after one dose, as this is just the protection against catching symptomatic COVID; the protection against catching more severe COVID is much, much higher. Once you are double vaccinated then the likelihood of dying from COVID is probably less than the risk of dying from flu.

    As I have mentioned elsewhere, I expect some sort of capacity restrictions at the start of the new season (my best guess is we'll be operating at 50% capacity), but any restrictions are likely to be eased as the season progresses.

    It is also likely that, if restrictions, do not allow everyone into Valley Parade, then iFollow will be available until such time as restrictions ease.

    So, buy your season ticket with confidence and look forward to the new season.
