For me he's bang on with the sin bin comment as he said we've all done it (taken one for the team) if they knew it would cost them 10/15 minutes off the park they may concentrate on playing the game.

 

Good points by both your goodself and Sparks. Fordy will say it's all soundbites and cliches but to be fair to the lad that's how CEOs in industry and football communicate.

Probably because he's still working for a club, that can be the only reason. So if not Adams who, Woy Hodgson?

 

The fan zone comment is an interesting one, would the club erect marquess to house the fans as I cant see it being a permanent structure, if so I hope the club have done their sums as I know it's £300+ to park in that area behind the Kop, lets say it holds 100 cars that £30,000 would they make that sort of profit from 23 home games, bearing in mind they have no financial input for a car park.

In previous interviews I've heard with him, when talking about league 2 budgets he's freely used Morecambe as an example of what can be achieved with a small budget when pointing out a big budget doesn't guarantee success. This time I noticed two places he could have used that same example, but didn't.
Not saying it will be Adams, but I thought that reference was conspicuous by its absence

 

I think and hope it's Adams but I like surprises.

That's the bit I don't get, the next manager has had input into potential transfer targets yet the new man can't be announced. I can understand they might want to announce both the new man and the price of season tickets in the same week but as many have said it could be at least a couple of weeks if it is Adams and he takes Morecombe all the way to Wembley.

It would stop silly challenges Id think, no petty fouls as it could cost the team dearly especially if its around the 75 minute, no side would want to play the last few minutes out with 10 men.

 

He always looks like a hungover student.
