I've held my hands upto the point I was trying to make. I thought it was filmed prior to the deadline set for questions and therefor using planted questions, which would have defeated the object.

I was proved wrong and as such held my hands up, what's the issue?

 

Good listen. He can certainly talk the talk, but fair play to him, he certainly has a vision both off and on the pitch.

The most striking thing about the interview for me was how adamant he was that the new manager made the final decisions about the retained/release lists in terms of players out of contract. For me, the plot thickens on who the new manager is, and I'm now having a doubt about it being Adams.

Excellent interview. Absolutely categorically confirms the new manager did the retained list. Informative on the cost on replacing t&s being a small price to pay v national league football

 

He talks well. Most of the stuff he's mentioned ain't inventing the wheel, in fact they've been mentioned on social media and the likes for years. Stuff like non existent back room, poor stadium facilities, even down to the little things that show how professional your club really is, all stuff that Rhodes didn't give a shit about. What i like about Sparks is his attention to detail and the fact that a lot of the stuff he is trying to improve wouldn't even register with most Bradford City fans due to their just happy to have a club to support approach. A will to succeed manifests itself not just on the pitch but also off it. Simple things like how your staff dress and act, how things like painted walls give the effect that someone at Valley Parade actually listens and does give a shit. The big one is getting the manager right but things like a shabby stadium and lack of staff professionalism has bugged me for years and its encouraging to see Sparks starting to address it.

 

That interview suggests to me we will announce a new manager on Monday along with season tickets and it isn't Adams, also that the club are happy to let people jump to the conclusion that its Adams, and blindside us on Monday.
