Agree. One step at a time.No need for razzmatazz..just let's enjoy being a family Club and aim for delivering higher standards for the fans around the ground.Meeting expectations would be a start for most.

 

Tried it for lunch a couple of times mid week.Catering was very good then and the set up was professional.

 

We tried the 1911 facility a few years ago on a recommendation unfortunatly after our meal we were told the chief was on holiday, I think it must have been the U21 lads making one in .
I don't know if it's still in business but many said it was a good meal at reasonable prices.

Isn't the point he is making is that we can't build anything anywhere outside the ground because we don't own the land. It would need the leaseholders permission and the remaining lease is too short for us to be able to borrow to build it.

 

I get the point he's making so why post the Tranmere fan zone video, he knows very well we own little/nothing at Valley Parade, so why the "This what you call off the pitch planning Sparks", every chance he gets to have a pop at the club but more so Ryan Sparks.

I understand we have no area's at Valley Parade to erect a fan zone so your post is irrelevant.

and when Darragh gets bored of Peterborough and moves on to other things......the club will still be paying him rent.

That aside, I agree we need to develop the club off the pitch as well as on it, but not sure how we can fund it at the moment

 

Im pretty sure Darragh ain't moving from Peterborough anytime soon, especially when they are building a new stadium and he's put 15 years of his life into it. We could only dream of having an owner like him.

 

So you didn't read about the fan zone and tie up with the to be redeveloped Community Centre behind the Dallas Stand? It was all over the press weeks ago.
Instead of head down and find the next thing to criticise why not open your eyes a bit more, lots going on.

 

I agree he has put a lot of money and effort into his club, but as with Bradford City Peterborough will not own the new stadium and will pay Darragh rent, possibly not as much as were paying but they still wont own the new stadium.

This is a few months old and there's not much in the way of detail as to what the fan zone will actually include. I'd missed this when it was originally published.

 

It has been discussed on here the main question being as a fan zone most would expect a drink ie beer would that be available in the new fan zone building, otherwise I'm not sure North Parade need worry.

 

That will be the case with most clubs these days, the stadium and club are separate entities. Means nothing in the grand scheme of things. Clubs wouldn't be able to afford the grounds anyway, effectively becoming tenants. Just like if Rupp bought Valley Parade, Bradford City wouldn't own it.

 

Is that under the Kop if so would it only be used by the fans that sit in the Kop, there is a pretty big concourse under the main stand but in its present state I couldn't see it being to appetising for fans to be in there a couple of hours before the game.
