Can't agree there. By insinuation you would also be saying we've signed a new manager before we relieved T&S.

Think you've read into it incorrectly there.

 

So if Morecambe get promoted will Adams still come? Are we a back up if he doesn't achieve?

 

I do hope your correct, and as long as it's been done with the knowledge of Morecombe that's even better, because as some have posted his contract doesn't run out until May 2022.

Well "not seeking applicants" does rather suggest we've got someone lined up.

Hypothetical of course but I wonder how our fanbase would react if we had a manager in contract, our team in the play offs and was wanted by another team?

We don't need a 58 year old dinosaur of a manager who keeps clubs in the same division, we need someone who can get us promoted without needing a blank cheque every summer.

Well perhaps I am not accounting for poor management of the situation on the club's behalf. I still don't think that's the case, though. I am wondering why T&S were dismissed when they were, because it just feels like they were relieved of their duties on a random day that didn't have any significance...

I've heard Trueman has signed a 12 month contract, and as a result can expect to be fired within a fortnight.

 

It's become apparant Adams' is the man.
Wellen's is the red herring, he would have been appointed by now, there's no change of heart by Wellens pending move to Doncaster.
Sparks' was quite happy letting the Wellens' leak run.
The deal is verbally agreed, Adams' sees out the play-offs then joins the biggest club and biggest challenge yet in his managerial career.

Just recently Ive taken more notice and read about Adams', his teams dont play much possession football, however when they have possesion they hurt teams.
Look at success with City teams over the past decades, it's just how we roll... He'll do well here.. trust me ha
