Do we have a functional board, outside our owners front door?

Why do you have a problem with him using Bradford City as a stepping stone, to me if he is successful the club is also successful, if he's ambitious then of course he would want to be CEO at a bigger club just as both Shaun Harvey, Dave Baldwin did, you tell us it's all about ambition why should it not be the same for Ryan Sparks.

I think nowadays it is important to have a strong off the field set of foundations, gone are the days of the local businessman running the club he supports.

That said Dubious is right, if we were in the championship fans wouldn’t care about sound bites from staff or company accounts.

Football will always come down to those 11 that cross the white line on a match day and the person in the dugout.

Heaton Road more or less where fortress Lawcroft is, then moved halfway down Oak Lane. Quality shop, like Robinsons on Duckworth Lane.

I thought it was, I had to dig deep for that . Passed it on the way up to Belle Vue for a few years in the late 60’s early 70’s

Not sure they have if the likes of Jack or Ken had put their brass in, I cant agree I hope Stefan is doing what he has to do with the help of Ryan to get us back to where we were when they took over but I'm not really bothered who's at the helm.

Doesn't take a lot to get our lot excited though does it? When mediocrity is almost part of the fabric of the club, any little morsel of positivity is met with one big jerk circle.

Because right now we need people that give a sh&t about the club rather than themselves.

Jack and Ken showed most interest in the 80’s when it was still very much the case, it’s very rare now to have a local owner who brings success to a club. Unless they’re very rich like Whelan was, I’m not aware of any local mega rich City fans who are willing to put their money in, but would love it if there were.

Personally I just don’t see us progressing far under Rupp, based on his history at the club. But hopefully everyone’s minds will be taken off from off field events of next season is a success.

But he's not a charity he wants to do the best he can (which would also be good for the club we support) and move up the management ladder, HES AMBITIOUS surely you of all people can see that and wish him well.
Ryan Sparks success = Bradford City success.

I'll take success as Stefan getting us back to being a club that was challenging for a play off place for the Championship.

    Amen to the highlighted comment.

Constructive action such as sacking Stuart, sacking off all the dead wood players, and now sacking off T&S. I'd hardly say he's just hung behind the scenes. I don't get the age bashing tbh. At 29, it's more than likely you've been out of university for seven years, and if you're in a decent role, it means you've been fast tracked on merit. Would you age bash an England international at 29? So what if there's plenty of dotcom/social media young CEO's? - are you disregarding these as being "flash in the pan"?. I'd say 29 these days, is when you really need to be getting to the top of your chosen career in order to succeed. No doubt at all that Sparks is using us as a stepping stone - that's because we're a bang average league two club, which fortunately for him, needs a lot of work and progression for him to make a name for himself. I'd much rather him cut his teeth here with us for a couple of years, than us being run by some curry house millionaire who is doing it for his ego, or a band of businessmen from the states who give zero fecks about football and are doing it for the cash. Joel Glazier is fifty years old and look how much the fans despise him!

Whoever the individual and however well qualified, it's just as important to have quality contacts and connections within the football fraternity.

It's Sparks that goes on about his age.

Think the issue is clear and that he's a opportunist. He isn't what the club needs when you have a disinterested owner. You need a CEO that's not a novice and wants to put the club first.

However, it is what it is and I give Sparks credit for getting rid of T & S.

Sparks gets it wrong then he will be hated worse than Joel Glazier mate.
