I dont think its Adams either, irrespective of him saying the shelf life at a club is three years, why would he turn down the challenge of keeping Morecambe in L1 (if they get there of course) to go to a club that outwardly appears the very epitome of toxicity ?

If the play offs were over, or Morecambe were out of them, it would be a different story, but I also cant see us hanging our hat on someone who might take his team up and decide to face down the challenge that presents.

Sparks is talking as if we have a done deal, but if it's Adams there are too many unknowns for it to be a done deal and NKP & Mellor will have both told him how toxic this club is and put him off big style, probably back in December ?

 

What difference do the terms of the contract extensions make?

I've jumped to the same conclusion anyone looking at Bradford City will make, and that's that Ryan Sparks has handed out contract extensions one month, then ripped them up the next. There's no way of looking at this that reflects well on Ryan.

Or are you talking about hurting City financially? Because I didn't say it did.

End of the day, some will view Sparks as being ruthless, but plenty will question why he's mishandling contract extensions and note that he doesn't seem to know how to get things right.

Fortunately, it's pretty likely that the next manager will get a contract outright from the start, and the club won't end up flip-flopping back and forth on it's own promises.

 

Neither do. I actually think he was sacked because he had fallen out with the fans and also the players, more chance to get promoted without him than with him

 

I wonder whether T&S new roles will be as analysts and scouting opponents for the first team, they came across very analytical in their interviews and apparently bombarded the players with information on their next opponents

Several media sources quote Wellens to be taking over the reins at the Keepmoat.

 

Wellens to Donny, Jackett to Orient, Parky out of the question (and always has been). I believe that means it HAS to be Adams. I just hope Morecambe don't throw a spanner in the works by winning the playoffs. Ideally we need them to bow out at the semis.

 

You really need to look how you use the word “shortly” next time. 5 mins, 30, mins, couple of hours....three weeks?
