If Truman thinks that the one and half chances we had was the difference in us not winning that game then he can F right off.

I will give them a lot of credit for the job they did to pull us clear of the relegation zone. However, I have quickly lost faith in them that they are the right management duo to push on and build a promotion side. I think the best thing all around is to thank them for a great job in saving us from relegation but time to move them back to work with the kids

Derek Adams for me, although attracting him could well depend on whether he can guide Morecambe to play off success. Whatever happens with Morecambe in the play offs, Adams has done a terrific job there. Promotion from this league already on his C.V. of course

A managerial merry go round is not a good thing but the performances are tactics are terrible and it seems that we are finding out why they were youth coaches, they’ve run out of ideas and the rots set in early, they need to step aside.

Some credit yeah, initially, but anyone could have come in and kept us up, there was always gonna be at least two teams worse than us in this crappy league. Jeez, even Stuart would have managed it (though maybe not very well?).

We were in a bad place but hardly clinging on by our fingernails. These two have dined out on 'saving us' for long enough now.

 

No effort on goal between the 13th and 77th minutes of the game. 5 defeats on the spin, another boring performance at home. A few of this squad already look like they've packed it in for the season.

Appreciate their efforts and work to drag us up the table, but it's a results business and especially when results and performances are what they are, they must be worried. They'll have the last two games and if nothing changes, I can't see them staying.

I think they’re losing the dressing room with those tactics. Like for like subs, even Evans thought he was coming off before someone told him it was Cook. What’s to gain by drawing the match?

In their defence when the likes of AOC, Evans and Wood are on the pitch always looking to find Hornby, it’s difficult to blame them. Surely they don’t instruct them to do this.

I’ve said this before but give them the first team coaches role to an experienced manager. That way they get a chance to learn and secondly don’t lose face as much as being given their old jobs back.

 

By that logic are you saying not one other manager could have saved us from the drop, even though we had a number of key injuries and had a manager playing a ridiculous formation which every game could see didn’t suit the team? Come on we were under achieving even though the squad is average at best.

 

I've seen enough - these aren't going to get us promoted. They were given deals too early, which is forgivable in the circumstances. But keeping them beyond this summer would lead to another wasted season.
