the new super league is replacing champions league. the so called big 6 want to carry on to compete in the premier league, fa cup, league cup. those big 6 are going to court and already started legal proceedings to make sure they do.

It’s shocking. Did anyone watch Neville before the Leeds v Liverpool game? He was spot on. And Klopps interview? He basically admitted that he wasn’t told by their owners and found out through the media! So not only do these owners not give a f*ck about their fans, they don’t even care about their managers!! I can see Klopp walking.

 

Neville's outdone himself throughout all of this so far. I think the point has been rightly made it is a bit rich for these guys who made good money from the PL breakaway and such to have such a damascene conversion, however they are absolutely saying the right things and backing the right people in backing the fans. This is also a lot worse for everyone than the PL ever could be I reckon.

Since the inception of the premier league the gap between the rich and poor has grown. The champions league riches has made the gap even wider. Fans have tolerated this up to this point in this country though fans abroad have long campaigned against the greed on UEFA, FIFA and the broadcast companies. This is the first time i've seen an all out backlash to new proposals in footballand it will be interesting to see which way it goes.

 

Another of those stupid internet rumour that the naive believe, a bit like the idea that Cooke and Rowe had a bust up in training. Some are so gullible.

 

Whilst not in the same league, we have seen a backlash within the football communities against our very own Premier League, whom wished to charge £14.95 to watch 'non televised' games just last October. In the midst of a global pandemic, ensuring football fans were not put at the forefront at this time.

You're probably right. The only reason I mentioned it was because I was told by a friend who's son in law works for ITV news that there was a lot of chatter about it yesterday so thought there might be something in it.

 

There might be a chance its true. Just sounds ridiculous. I liken it to the Rowe Cooke one because that wasn't true either yet some on here keep mentioning it now.

 

What makes me think it might just be true is the timing. What club sacks their manager five days before a cup final at Wembley, in normal circumstances?
