All the Radio Leeds football commentators Adam Pope the guy who does Huddersfield and the City one, always never say anything controversial they always look for positives even when there ar'nt any there. Say anything the clubs don't like and your out of the door and the club denies access it happened at Leeds when the ex Chelsea chairman was there.

one of my first times listening to kiwomya's dulcet tones, and within minutes was rewarded with 'and thats just going to exasperate the problems for city'

 

Listening to Andy certainly exacerbated what was already an awful performance.

 

I'm sure I heard him say 'and Wood came from Norway '.

On the other side of the coin, Kiwomya recognises the quality of Rowe who is too good for this side. T&S haven't figured out how to get the best out of him, yet.

Rowe too good for this side? So we expecting a queue around the block of teams wanting to sign him?

 

You'd think Rowe was some kind of Mbappe/Haaland hybrid the way some of our fans go on about him. The reality is that he's in his thirties, has mainly played non league and his big move was from one mid table league two team to another. There are probably many reasons why that's the case!

 

To be fair to him, last night he was calling it right from the start that we were too slow, pedestrian even.

On the flip side, if he continues with "he's through" when the attacker has at least two defenders around him then I'll do my nut!

 

He's 'reet' is AK, just wants the best for City. Not perfect and gives you a smile/laugh. Not as boring as some could be, I've heard worse from away commentators!

 

Agree. He’s a City fan who gets over excited. He knows he’s not the best but just has a laugh. Maybe people shouldn’t take so seriously.

 

I've actually agreed with some of his observations on the team in the last couple of weeks
His first good call was when he pointed out that we just came out for the start of a recent game and stood about. He said that we'd get off to a slow start. And we did!
I also agree with some of his mildly critical observations of RoD
Of course sandwiched between these little nuggets of wisdom is the usual drivvel.

 

He identified the quality of the warm up during McCalls tenure and was right about slow starts too. Seems we’ve fallen as back into bad habits again.
