I find myself agreeing with every bloody decision Trueman makes. Even the subs were the right decision, taking off key players and asking others to go on a do a role. If you're 2 nil up you don't risk your influential players with such a fixture pile up coming. Much more fun when you could slag the manager off after a game.

 

Cook scored a good goal but did little else as he scored a great goal and had an assist and put in another energetic display I would have Sutton MOM

 

Don't think we've got enough goals in us to win it. The Bolton game is a key one for this, we lose that one and we ain't finshing top 3.

 

I feel we're still trying to work out how to score more but it's good to see us shooting more. All of Crankshaw, Vernham, Rowe, Sutton, Cooke had shots from outside the box which was good.

I really like some of your posts Al but on this one, I can't see it. Tranmere will fill 1 of the top 3 spots. Forest Green are 11 in front of us with +10 better goal difference and we only have 1 game in hand. Cheltenham, recovered excellently after we beat em with two wins to nil are 10 in front of us, +11 better goal difference, again we only have 1 fame in hand.

I got why you have said it. I'd love it to happen, don't get me wrong but a play off place from our starting point would be an incredible achievement.

 

We have only failed to score in 2 games since T&S took over so I don't get your assumption we don't have enough goals in us. As long as we keep scoring 1 goal more than the oppo we will be up there no doubt at all about that.

 

Interesting that their commentary regularly pointed Cook out during the game as causing them problems.

 

No that's your moan but I will agree with you that Clarke's best years are behind him. The point I was making was about the players we have available to play that role. We can trust Trueman and Sellers to come up with a solution I think. They may surprise us and go with 4 4 2.

Agreed, with the runs we are both having would definitely have been 20,000 next Saturday, such a shame, would have been a fitting tribute to our dynamic duo!!

 

I lumped on tranmere to finish top after Tuesday night and have four bets on us from finishing top seven to getting promotion. I actually think we'll get to the playoff final,and hopefully win it. Just think autos is a step too far.

 

Mansfield played a defensive game today to beat Morecambe and I am sure they will do the same on Tuesday so patience is going to be needed
