Cook scores two and is dropped? Not sure I agree on that at all. Maybe he can’t do 2 games in 3 days. I hope that’s the only reason.

 

I reckon they will have spoken to Rowe and cook previously, telling them there will be rotation between the 2. Doubt it's an issue

I disagree. Strikers who score goals don’t then sit on the bench the next game in my opinion. You score you keep your place. And certainly you score 2 you’re in.
Make Rowe earn his place, not just hand it back because they were told they would be rotated.
Strikers usually go in spells for goals, keep that going

I am sure Rowe will bag tonight now I’ve said this however

 

It may be horses for courses. Perhaps they think that Rowe's skillset is better suited to breach Orient's defence than Cook's. Given their dismal recent run you'd think that Orient will park the bus. Rowe's ability to make space for himself, link well with the midfield and hit screamers from distance may be a better bet against a packed defence than hitting balls onto Cook's head, especially on a windy night where we'll want to keep it on the deck.

 

I think it’s a case of horses for courses playing away at a place like Cheltenham you know you need an outlet which we did first half especially Tonight it will be a case of trying to break them down so Rowe is more appropriate

Play it on the deck tonight,hence Rowe,Cook will get on sometime in the second half at a guess but it's not a night for launching it.

 

I agree. You score twice, you're in for the next game. When Novak's back, are they going to rotate the three of them, playing one game each in every three?

 

Football doesn't work like that. You don't train then go 'oh lets play him because it's bloody windy'

Rowe is playing maybe because he's fresher and we have seen something in their defence that he can get the better of.

Yes, let's not forget that Cook came in, made a substitute appearance and tweaked something and missed the Exeter match. What we don't want is him getting injured and out for longer.

We're going to have to rotate players towards the end of the season and some of those decisions will be based on fitness statistical data where we're trying to prevent an injury through tiredness or a worse injury than someone is carrying by overpaying them and we won't know all the reasons ahead of the match. We need to trust the managers.

 

Sorry don't agree Cook is more suitable in an airel battle than Rowe.
It's a good luxury to have.

You have got this out of context,the weather doesn't pick the team I'm not that stupid but Rowe plays on the floor and Orients defence are very slow.
I expect City to play it on the floor.
Anyway who cares it's just an opinion.

 

Nothing to do with the weather playing a Cheltenham who press high and put you under pressure at times long ball is necessary and Cook with his build and physique is perfect whilst Rowes ball control and threat is more important when trying to break teams down at home. So it’s horses for courses if you have the players to do it
