Surely not. If something like normal life isn't resumed within the next 3 months isn't restored (excluding international travel), it never will be.

He's right, a good business will plan for various possible outcomes.

It's not the one I expect and certainly not the one we want, but we need an option to deal with it.

I have read somewhere? that they are hoping to have some fans attending both the fa cup and carabao cup finals.
What might happen to City is limited attendance along the lines of claret & amber that they were trying to roll out this season.
Wont help the current City business model but it would be a start.

Yes, the FA and EFL are trying to get 30k in at Wembley for both the finals, billing it as trial events. Quite what else needs to be trialled is anyones guess though.

It looks very likely that social distancing will continue for the foreseeable future. Therefore there is a limit on season tickets we can sell. Maybe this is a good time to increase the price to reduce the demand?

With clubs only allowed 25% of capacity next season isn’t this the ideal time to raise season ticket price?

The maximum we can sell is 6,284 assuming no away fans are allowed.

The 25% capacity is only until 21st June. If all goes to plan, we'll be back to full capacity next season.

    No earlier than 21 June
    • Remove all legal limits on social contact.
    • Reopen the remaining closed settings and enable large events above the capacity restrictions (from no earlier than 17 May entry).

I can’t believe social distancing will end before next season starts. That’s crazy!

Realistically how long do we have social distancing for? I know it’s a different place and circumstances but New Zealand have full stadiums and have for a while.

That has to be put into context with how NZ have handled the spread of Covid compared to say the UK. They acted much quicker and were tougher with their original control of the virus. The 7 day average of new cases last month in NZ was 3! Ours is a multiple of several thousand times that at the last count. We have a long way to go to catch up with NZ before we can emulate their sporting events.

Would you be happy going to back to sit in a capacity crowd at Valley Parade with people right next to you at each side and in front and behind? I think a lot of people would think twice about that!

I know I’m asking how long are we expecting them to last? If other countries start to follow New Zealand some time this year do we do it for years?

If I’d had the vaccines yes, otherwise what’s the point in having them to not go back to normal life and live like a hermit for years?

I believe an answer to that particular question is what everybody wants. We're pinning our hopes on driving down the spread of the virus through our vaccination programme and so far it's been successful. How long we have to put up with the restrictions will be determined by how successful that programme continues to be and whether it isn't knocked off course by a new variant which doesn't respond to the vaccine.
