See I told you you'd win 2-1....OK I missed out your third but my prediction was kinda close-ish.

Really pleased for you ....Bradford's a great city and proper football club. All the best for you and I'll look out for your results over the rest of the season.

Thanks for the comments about the set up at Cambridge Utd. We're punching well above where we expected to be at this point but it's a really well organised, old skool football club. We're happy!

And no wetherbywhaler we haven't played Barrow yet ...that's 6th Feb. But remember when the east wind blows there's nothing between the Fens and the Urals so we'll be grand.

Wishing you all the best for the rest of the season - Sean

Didn't have the commentary on tonight just sound effects, some bloke didn't half like his bad language.
My missus said doesn't he say anything else.

Southend were poor but that was a really good performance. They had a bit of a spell after their goal but we just bossed it.

Rowe is just a cut above, love his confidence. How was he in non league for so long?! Two goals will do Evans a lot a good as well.

In terms of negatives it was a sloppy goal to concede and I think Cousin Dawson gets caught out of position too often. Against better opposition that would cost us.

I like Jamie Raynor it’s Handy Andy who is the problem. You would think the station would have rumbled him by now

We didn't look as good in the first half as we have done since Stuart left but I did notice that Trueman and Sellars didn't look like they were worried. They will probably just have had a quiet word at half-time.

Looked like a"very quiet word" they were out 3 minutes before the players. Think they left them to sort themselves out.

Rowe has got two good feet on him, doesn't seem to favour either left or right which makes him difficult to mark.

Its only because they're not doing away coverage that you realise just how much better the other regions of the BBC are at covering their teams.
The chap who was the pundit tonight for BBC Essex really showed what a chump handy Andy is.

I agree. If Jamie had Wayne Jacobs or Gary Jones next to him it would be a far more professional commentary.

I went to WGS, more years ago than I care to recall.

The thought of our then headmaster even recognising the existence of football, never mind actually supporting the local club, makes the mind boggle.

I have watched a fair few of Rowe's goals for AFC Fylde on YouTube. I know it's at a lower level but even allowing for that you can still see why he was so prolific.
For quite a big lad he switches feet very quickly which wrong foots defenders and creates that bit of space he needs to get a shot away. The other thing that makes it hard for defenders is that he doesn't favour either foot.

The last City player I remember with a shot on him like like Rowe was in 1997/98 His name was Nigel Pepper.
I'm still salivating over that shot from Rowe that hit the bar tonight, unbelievable strike on goal.

Well great result fantastic to see Rowe score his first goal by Christ that bloke has some shot on him he's definitely got a few worldies in him. I thought they closed us down well when we tried to play out from the back 1st half but we seemed to figure it out.

And very little back lift. Looking forward to a few netbusters in the future. I'm presuming he'll be on pen duty too.

Perhaps they left the sterner words and assessments to the senior players?

Ditto! Not a bad comparison either mind you. Shearers one of my all time favourite footballers. Love seeing a striker just hungry for goals. For sooooooo long we’ve missed a striker with the selfish mindset and ability to shoot when creating the opportunity. He’s got every chance of very quickly becoming a fans favourite if he carries on like that.
