I think there’s defo something in it usually the club don’t let Parker run a story without there been interest. If we can offer him a longer contract and give him some stability I’m sure he would jump at the chance

 

I think the Novak rumour that he is on his way out is well wide of the mark.
I think the signing of another striker is more for the simple reason is that Novak is too injury prone.
We've already seen a lengthy lay-off and the knock on effect that's had on our performances. We could be looking at another lengthy injury.
We simply need more cover up front and that needs to be an experienced striker.
The Don's not up to the role anymore and the other lads are untried and therefore a big risk to put all your goal scoring eggs in that basket.
I think Nov's will become third choice behind Rowe and whoever we sign.

The player I would like is Eisa at Scunthorpe usually plays on the left but played the number 10 role yesterday and scored two. Think he is out of contract in the summer. Also I don’t know if there would be any chance but Kayden Jackson a Bradford lad who moved from Accrington to Ipswich for a million pounds has dropped out of favour after scoring eleven in his first season

 

I feel like things are changing at City and for the better. With Rhodes and McCall we'd still be waiting for our first signing and "waiting on their parent clubs" and the idea of paying a fee for someone would be a pipe dream. Right now we would be reading about how good our strike force is and that Guthrie is looking to up his goal tally in 2021...

If we bag Mclaney then I'll be very happy. I feel if we had this management in charge last season then we could've had a look at Charlie Kirk from Crewe, scored 7 and assisted 14 from the wing in 36 games last season at 23, feel like that ship has sailed unfortunately given our current position.

Tshimanga who was rumoured last season, last season scored 19 in 37, this season 7 in 15 (?) according to BBC. Doesn't assist a whole lot but if we're looking for a young pacey striker who can get behind then he wouldn't be the worst target. Only 23 and did well in his first full season last year, out of contract in the summer. Haven't actually seen him play only his youtube highlights, and of course anyone can look good on a highlight video.

Does look like a different striker than we've got and would always prefer the club to sign up and coming talent rather than praying for a prem loanee to do miracles or a 35 year old past-it pro looking for money
