A point on Tuesday and they have the same from 7 games that Stuart got from 16 games. And all by tweaking the line up. It really puts Stuart and his jock sidekick to shame.

 

Having watched the game you may have been right on this one. Rowe definitely looks like he'd work better off a front man so with Novak being out we may have to throw Donaldson back in to lead the line.

However, Bradford City shouldn't be in this situation EVER and beating Cambridge should be a given.

The situation is as a whole but I did tell you all in the summer that I was concerned about McCall but lets take the point today and move on to the next game which hopefully will be 3 points.

The league position is currently poor but ON THE PITCH we are now more than a match for anyone. Can only see us going one way from now on. And that's not down.

we’d gone almost a month without a game. Cambridge had played six in that time. We could have had our momentum disrupted.

It may well be we are freshened up now for the run in.

We matched them in every respect and any danger the wins before were merely a honeymoon period before are disappearing. We look to have two talented coaches, the players are knocking it about well and we’ve plenty of cause for optimism going into Tuesday.

Today was a really tough test for more than just on-the-pitch reasons - and if our form was going to hit a wall, this was the game - a good League two side, away from home, after a substantial (and frustrating) break. You never know with a new manager bounce if it's just that - a wave of positivity and determination that can't be sustained.

But, after today's creditable draw, it looks like our form could realistically sustain itself a bit longer yet.

Completely agree. If that’s his standard then he will go up the levels quickly as many of his rivals are poor in comparison. Used some common sense.

 

I think sometimes it seems that the powers that be frown upon common sense. I didn't see the game but it is good to read about a ref in such positive terms from a number of fans. Hopefully his assessor was equally positive.

 

Evans seems to be improving slowly. If a left midfielder is brought in, where does he fit in?

He’s not hit the heights I was expecting and probably won’t be a big miss based on his current form.

 

Evans had a decent game today. He's never going to be a flying winger but he does a job for the team, he's neat and tidy. He's a clever player. The problem is, you could describe Clarke and Cooke in exactly the same way. Those 3, playing behind a main striker, are too similar. Solid and hard working, but not enough attacking end product.

 

I actually thought he did well today especially second half where he got back and helped Wood and was behind some of our better moves and of course very unlucky not to score
