what's the crack with season ticket receipts this year ?...I renewed online in April and received a conformation email but as yet I've received no 'receipt'

 

Nice to see that some things within the club don't take weeks and weeks to resolve...

Bradford City ticket office are sh*t! People working there either need to be retrained or sacked! Home game against MK Dons, they sold me a seat that was occupied by a young lad who was a season ticket holder and had sat in that seat all season. When I went to complain to the steward about the ticket office selling my this kids seat, he just told the kid to move. Not the greatest game when you have all his family and fellow season ticket holders around him asking why I'm sitting there, and for me to have to explain that Bradford City ticket office have made a c*ck up. Thankfully everyone was really friendly and could see it wasn't my fault. Felt bad though so moved to another empty seat. Shouldn't have happened in the first place, if the ticket office knew what they where doing.

I phoned last Thursday to change my seat, young lad answered, took my details and changed my seat within 2 or 3 mins, got the new Receipt for the new seat on Saturday morning, I'm now within 6 seats of where I want to be, so getting closer

He may have sat there all season but he obviously didn’t have the ticket for that seat otherwise he wouldn’t have moved. He would have shown the steward his ticket for the seat

 

He showed me his ticket and we both had the same row and seat number. That's why I went up and complained to the steward about the ticket office selling me this kids seat. I don't know if the kid showed the steward his ticket as I was stood at the top of the steps, but all I saw was the steward talking to him and then the kid moving to the next seat and the steward then walking up the steps and telling you have your seat.

 

Do you feel better now you finally managed to get that off your chest ?

 

The same MK Dons game with around 10,000 spare, empty seats? I can see why that would have been a struggle to sort out.

 

Yes thanks, I've been bottling that up since the game. When I saw the ticket office topic I just had to come in here and release all that pent up emotions. I feel better now.
