Maybe because @wetherbywhaler is too close to the club to express those views in public Fordy. The place for him to do so is behind closed doors until such a time all of those involved are no longer connected to City.

I’ve seen very little from you other than criticism, nothing other than Ryan is young and inexperienced, Rupp needs to sell blah blah blah.

If you’re so clever, if you know business so well, why don’t you become an associate director, I am sure you can afford it and Stefan and Ryan will welcome such knowledge you can impart.

If you don’t want to do that, enlighten us all with a costed plan, based in reality, on how you would remove Stefan and get new owners in, get a better CEO than Ryan, how you would match what Luton have done.

Like many I’m no fan of Rhodes or Rupp, I think their leadership has been poor, but come on Fordy, you’re quick to criticise, what’s your plan? Let’s pick apart what you do with being constructive in anyway shape or form.

 

When you say 'it isn't the case now' that you're doing nothing, what do you mean in broad terms?

I am assuming you support Stefan, fair enough, we know you are in Ryan's corner, again, that's absolutely fair and just, but what is it you are referring to?

I'm guessing that there are no plans to oust anyone? So in context, the work being done is to support Ryan and Stuart, or what?

 

What are you doing to facilitate a change in ownership?

Its a dilemma that the club isn't moving forwards but until it does you won't help. But BY you helping then the club will move forwards. So it is over to you @Fordy117 do the right thing and make us grumpy City fans happy again.

From you previous posts you have all the attributes needed to do this. Wealth, business acumen, footballing knowledge.

So come off here for a while, get the team assembled from your vast network of business people and let's rock and roll.

I really would like to here from Rupp and Sparks on things Bradford City. Not on here, of course. A message that could be read, understood and considered by all Bradford City fans.

I don't post on here often but for what it's worth I can't understand how taking '5 years to undo Edin's mess' equates to City potentially being relegated again and going out of business. Edin's gone, thank God. But the only businessman on the planet who met Edin and thought 'here's a guy I can invest in' is still here. Rupp fecked up. He invested simply to earn a quick buck and now that looks unlikely we don't hear from him. He doesn't even communicate with hard-working fans who have invested time, money and so many emotions following City over the years. Something he will never understand. It's a real kick in the teeth for the fans. Since Edin left we haven't just trod water, we've declined at an even faster and more worrisome rate than in the 2000s after the admins. Rupp was happy to ponce about on the pitch at Fleetwood, scarf aloft. He needs to front up, stop being a coward and tell us what HIS plan, as the owner, is to stop this near-terminal decline.
With regards Sparks, I hope he's the best thing to ever happen to us but a 29yo CEO who learned his trade at the Bulls during THEIR worst decline in living memory doesn't inspire most fans with confidence. The people running our club, at this moment in time, deserve all the pelters they are getting.
It's up to them to win fans around and stop taking us for granted.
I will still support the team, i hope we trounce Oldham this afternoon and McCall turns things around on the pitch but ffs this is a fecking mess which was conpletely avoidable.

 

That was 5 years from Rahic's departure in 2018 I believe. We are all ready two years down the line. Going well ain't it?

 

I don’t have to do anything and I can’t do anything. I’m not an owner, director or an employee of the club and I’m not banging on about it all time telling Sparks and Rupp what to do

 

Fordy will always be proved right providing the team is losing. All he has ever done is post negative statements, maybe wrong but wasn’t he banned from the old Claret and Banter site for a while for constantly posting negative criticism. Even in the good times he was posting to get Mason sacked. It’s easy to moan and these days there’s a lot to moan about, but starting a post to get a person sacked within days of getting the job is not being proved right. By all means let’s post criticism of the club, but it just becomes tedious when it’s monotonous accusations without any back up. Please don’t try to make Fordy a hero he’s far from that. Anticipating his reply, no I don’t accept mediocrity and I don’t agree with extended contract for McCall, but I recognise Sparks has every right to make his own decisions which he stands or falls by.

Your post was about a whole new set up at the club to take it forwards as the current set up is not up to it and now you reply saying its Stefans job to get the right back room team, despite previously berating him and demanding he sells the club asap. Make up your mind. Which is it?

 

So go and get all your business buddies to cough up and buy the club and get that dream team in that you want.
