    Young players
    Cooke
    Clarke
    Novak
    Wood
    Watt

Just 15 or so players needed then!

Complete clear out required. Wood if he wanted
    to stay but that's it.

    None.

The squad, like the club, needs gutting. It's rotten to the core and completely inadequate.

Not even sure Wood is all that he is cracked up to be. Will end up signing for another L2 team.

Ishmael won't get a contract, he's finished as a footballer.

I honestly think when Bowyer said release C Wood, he got the wrong one and meant to keep Callum Woods

A gutting of biblical proportions is needed if we are ever to aspire to promotion to league 1.

We will narrowly stop up and then this lot crossed out below can be let go and replaced. Keep the young un's for the future.

    Lee Novak
    Clayton donaldson

I don’t even need to look at the list. There is nobody currently at the club that I’d be sad to see leave.

I know, but I genuinely believe he is a garbage addition to this football club and stand by what I said.

We cant tackle the National League with those players ! ? Some will still have pretentions of a Football League career ? But if you look at the majority of National League teams they are made up of big; strong, players and even the smaller ones can put themselves about. Our current squad would cave in under the barage of NL football.

I look at DMH who somehow is paid to play L2 football but who would not make the first XI of any current NL team ! In fact he wasnt getting a game at Park Avenue in the NL North when Bower had him on loan ?.

We are in a right old mess and after todays completely lousy showing, knowing whats coming games wise into January ; the injuries; lack of any cohesive team plan emerging and no depth at all to this group. We have to be in the worst state of all bar two of the teams in this league. And that might be one !? If so this club is starring squarely at dropping out of the FL come May.

Its alnost a blessing we probably wont be there to witness it. But I do foresee a scenario where an increasingly under seige Ryan Sparks sounds a rallying call as fans are welcomed back to VP in reasonable numbers. Then suddenly its up to the fans to try and be the difference ? Lets face it if IF ever a group of City players were needed to try and save the day ? You would not want it to be this lot would you ? If IF ever a group of City players were going to be forlornley trudging round an empty VP as they went out the football league it would be this lot would it not ? Sad thing is our greatest player and legend could be preciding over the whole sorry mess. ?

Trust me, this lot would be run ragged and out muscled in the NL - fortunately it wont come to that! ;):grinning:

To play devils advocate, this team defeated Tonbridge Angels 7-0 and they play in the National League South.

This team is bad, but I don't think they are *that* bad. It's worrying but I think we will stay up and a major rebuild is in order for next season.

Been our best CB this season though. I’d let him leave in summer all the same. Paudie has been error prone all season. BRE a disaster and not suited to playing in a three. Staunton has done well when fit.

Been part of an awful defence for years. You’d think coming from L1 he would have a bit more about him. Looks sluggish and disinterested.

All rubbish bar Staunton who is a class act for his age.

There are apparently 7 who are under contract for next season according to Stu. I have counted Paudie O’Conner, Sutton, Watt, O’Donnell, Staunton, Cooke. Can’t think who the 7th is.
