Of all the football club's in the world to choose from, those two idiots had to pick ours to buy. We are now a complete joke thanks to them. Enough is enough now, they don't know what the feck they're doing and it's long overdue that they went.

And who do you want to buy the club.IF they were that many potential buyers out there dont you think they would have come foward when the club was last up for sale.It wasnt that long ago that the same people who want them out are the same people who praising them to high heaven and slagging lawn off if these people can do any better and are willing to put there own money in ,which i very much doubt then go ahead instead of sitting behind your laptop and slagging off people who are at least willing to give it a go

 

I’ve not got a clue and neither has anyone else whose had enough. If I did or had any chance of influencing someone to put their money up don’t you think I’d be chomping at the bit. I’m just a working class man who dearly loves his club and isn’t too happy about how it’s being run.

 

Not nearly as dire as some want us to think....There are plenty of worse dumpster fires out there...and to be fair who knows what we get for owners if he does sell.....the oystons....or sisu...or maybe red bull bradford....not willing to pass judgement yet...many here act as if a mid table finish equals us playing in the national league north.

From what I read we could have plenty worse owners e.g. Aston Villa.

IMO we continue to support Edin, I don't believe all the BS stories floating about. City rightly keep their cards close to their chests, there's obviously a communications blackout at the moment so how anyone can know anything concrete is beyond me!

 

Yes, clueless about who could potentially buy the club? Yes I’ll admit that. As for the rest it comes from the heart. We’ve regressed as a club that cannot be ignored.

Quite simply put - A chairman should leave player recruitment and management to a coach/manager.
The alleged rumours are gathering momentum and if true, he’s quite simply an idiot!
Please explain why no coach/manager has been appointed? It does not take this long and Bradford City have always attracted a good group of names. It’s taking the piss now

Criticise the owners because we don’t know who could take over if they sold up.

Just because we can’t give you a name of someone with millions of quid doesn’t mean we have to support dumb and dumber regardless of what they do.

I don't hate either Stefan Rupp or Edin Rahic, and I don't lambast them every chance I get, but I definitely feel quite negatively about their stewardship of the club.

All that was really needed from new owners was shrewdness, patience, and a little extra financial clout (I say a little extra, but it wasn't necessarily even needed in L1 - it was needed in the Championship).

Instead of shrewdness we now have silly pipe dreams that have failed for us before (development squad and a youth-over-experience, quantity-over-quality approach), instead of patience we have sacked Stuart McCall, a man playing the kind of football we presumably WANTED to play, despite it's unpopularity on the terraces, and instead (or perhaps IN SPITE of) the extra financial clout, we are now in a worse position.

Why are we in a worse position? Why have we halted our year-on-year progress and regressed?

Because the very basic philosophy we are working so hard to enforce is ultimately flawed beyond purpose.

The players have been weaker; less professional; less mentally tough; less physically tough; less consistent; less reliable; less able; less endearing; less popular; less achieving.

But instead of re-evaluating what was, from day one, a questionable direction, we are now looking for a 'coach' to continue this farce.

No, Rupp and Rahic have NOT come in like horrible nasties intent on ruining or stripping the club of assets. But they have come in with a poor strategy intent on making the club less of a family and more of a business, and the lack of engagement is reflected in our VASTLY dwindled attendances by the end of last season.

Some can't see what horrible evils the owners have committed to instigate such resentment - fine, because they haven't committed those evils - but they have systematically, and stupidly (as opposed to intentionally) stripped back a lot of what we had under the previous owners and the previous manager and left us with very little optimism. Without a 'name' manager capable of attracting 'name' players, I'm not sure we can recover from the damage down to supporter morale. But then, we're not looking for that, are we?

Because the owners believe they know best, will continue with their strategy, despite the fact that it has proved quantifiably WORSE than alternative options.

How anyone can be impressed is beyond me. Support is fine, but nobody can be happy, surely?
