Why do others have to follow the new rules? You are ignoring the current ones so why bother with new ones.

The government should up their game and bring in some needed cash by sending out fines to anyone openly admitting breaking rules that there are fine for.

    just like a speeding fine.

It wouldn't be worth the time and effort. An enormous amount of people would refuse to pay and have to be taken to court. There's also an argument that these fines are not actually legal and could be challenged in the high court.

There is an argument that they are not legal but so far they have stood up to the test.

If they make supermarkets force people to wear masks then they will not fine people braking rules.

Really? I think only about 30 fines have been issued and that's mainly because they were throwing parties.

He probably doesn't do hands free either. Laws and Govt rules are for the great unwashed and not the elite.

I genuinely don't get why you don't understand the nuance.

You want the government to open the economy up, fine, that makes some sense. But then when they do open parts of the economy up you use that as a reason why you don't need to follow any of the rules any more. Nonsensical.

Is that more graphs showing the same flawed data?

the thing that always make me giggle with your view is that you find a location or a survey that backs up your pre-conceived idea but then when it eventually doesn't show it any more you move onto another data source.

You used to love the ONS data. national hospitalisation stats and France/Spain deaths when they were showing everything was steady. Don't seem to find them quite so relevant anymore weirdly. All about SE England now!

Plus the rules for opening up the housing market isn’t just a free for all. There are cleaning etc that go with it, limiting touching, limiting people etc. If you follow the rules properly the risk of spreading it whilst viewing are minimal

Because the government just need to concentrate on doing what they say they would do:

    Testing, Testing, Test
    World Beating Track and Trace.

Until we get that right anything is pointless and we will just go round and round.

If you want to go in your own self bubble then fine..Stay away from your wife/girlfriend/boyfriend/children/parents/parent/grandparents/grandparent then don't be thinking you are superman. Show me you are on your own until we have a vaccine and not in contact with others then I will give you your superman badge.

The government are the problem not the public.

And I keep saying to you that you can't solve everything with testing - if people don't limit their interactions there is no possible way to accommodate the necessary capacity.

More importantly though you can't test every person with the virus, people don't know every possible person they've been in contact with and therefore a pretty high percentage of people slip through the net with no solution.

You have to therefore do both, have a system for testing but also limit our own personal interactions.

People who just want to rely on testing are trying to live in a utopia with no personal responsibility. If anyone can tell me how you can guarantee to pick up 100% of the infected people simply through testing while people are living their normal life then I'll go with that.

And I have zero idea what the superman paragraph is about but I'll assume it's unimportant anyway.

You can have a more picture with testing. Can you not see that? Seriously? Even Boris himself said for now the only way out of this is TESTING, TESTING. TESTING!

The government think most people are idiots by talking about capacity. The capacity is nonsense. It's about how many people are getting tested and if people need a test then they should be able to get one. At least then they would know.

My superman comment is because you are making out that you are just sat in a bubble by yourself not going anywhere. If I want to see my family I will. Yes, I know the risks but I also know that other things need to be done to get us on track. Many called it on here that the government will fail and blame the public.

This government is a failure at the minute and hopefully Boris will understand that people won't listen to him now. Sack Matt Handcock, show that you mean business then maybe but now no because he's clueless.
