Problem is, that if this lad from Palace comes on a trial, it's going to be another two weeks until he's signed up. I really would have hoped that if the rumours were true, he's already on his way up to play in some, ahem, closed doors games and ready to sign on the dotted line asap.

I think the problem here is a lack of trust which is wholly understandable but Edin has gone. I trust Stuart, theres no-one up top to tell him what to do. if he says that it is fine I believe him. I don't think he would have come back if Edin was still here! if anyone does you are really selling Stuart short.

Also interesting, because in the past it's always been the lure of playing in front of circa 12k fans which has been the deciding factor in signing or not. Obviously for now, this is not the case. As mentioned earlier, will a 17 year old Londoner really want to up roots and move up North to play in a stadium with as many people he has watching him at Palace's training ground? All depends on his ambition I suppose. Did anyone hear Gary Neville last night being quite vocal about Abraham and the fact that he needs to kick on and get his arse into gear and desire to play first team football? Players just can't expect to be picked, they need to show intent and do anything they can to get into a starting eleven - and that means making a move if they have to.

Last week Park was saying we need a forward. Now he is saying we can take on the world with Novak and Guthrie...Utter nonsense.

 

Still a bit of a mess as we were only looking at these and shows lack of scouting. As others have said we should have been planning for Vaughan since Stuart came in.
Maybe Agard or Jordi will change their minds and that’s what Stuart Is waiting on?
