I know about the suite upgrade. I've never used it. I've no recollection of ever being told about a free flexi offer. Have you assumed you get offered nothing instead of a suite upgrade this year?

Is it just me or has the club been generous with the truth and a little on the deceptive side, when plonking 2020/21 season tickets on sale, saying 13800 season tickets were sold last season when it appears only c11300 were sold with c2500 flexi tickets.

Ryan Sparks said on Twitter a while ago that it included Flexi as well, don’t think it was something ever hidden for anyone who wanted to know.

Just noticed someone asking a question relating to this.

"Should COVID-19 restrictions be lifted to the point where all season-ticket holders are able to be housed in the Utilita Energy Stadium at any one time (approximately 14,000), iFollow streaming passes could be revoked.

iFollow passes will only remain part of this season-ticket package in lieu of supporters being able to attend all home fixtures."

So we know that the level where all season-ticket holders are able to be housed at VP is 9,039. So I guess if restrictions are lifted above 9k ifollow stops and all season ticket holders will have to be let into the ground as that would be the only way to ensure you see every game.

But I don't do twitter. So it would have been fully transparent had the club stated on its website that "for the 2019/20 season, we sold 11300 season tickets and 2500 flexi tickets"

So for me, this information, was hidden in effect and nowhere on this forum did anybody suggest such information (happy to be corrected). I even asked @Bradford End@Bradford End the information regarding season ticket sales as the Cheltenham and Stevenage games were below 12k. No reply at the time, which is his perogative. Yet now, after closure of St sales, this detail is revealed.

Like I say, generous with the truth.

And those whom have decided for personal reasons, not to attend VP, hoping to watch the club on Ifollow, may then not have access to Ifollow?

    A possibility?

I could live with the free passes being revoked under those circumstances but I think home matches at least should be available in the UK for a payment of £10 for those that wanted to support the club by buying a ticket but were reluctant to attend due to the virus or own health issues...

Thats what it says on the website and thats the way I read it. So if the bar was not 7k from the start but 9k then they would have to accommodate all season ticket holders as they would not be able to watch it on ifollow, so the split would cease to exist. I was hoping for clarity on the latest update but it does not say anything.

And may have been covered prior but folk whom purchase season tickets and do not attend the games allocated to them will only get access to the games on Ifollow that cannot attend.

Eg. If a claret season ticket, only access via Ifollow for Amber games?

I’m not sure why the club didn’t just put Season ticket and Flexi cards totally 13.8k or whatever it was, might just of been oversight from the person who updates the website. But when asked Ryan didn’t hide anything, probably just a case of lacklustre communication by the club rather than deceit. I said early about Mason and it’s the same for this point, regardless of his critics the communication baring Rahics gagging of him at times was always good and imo reflected with better season ticket sales. Obviously there are other factors such as Covid but the club don’t help themselves at times even before Covid.

I suspect that, if iFollow passes are revoked, it will not be done on a club by club basis but, at the very least, on a division by division basis. Therefore, the lift in capacity will need to be to a level that allows most / all clubs to accommodate all of their ticket holders.

Not that I'm expecting the restrictions to be lifted anytime soon. Especially if we get a few more cases like this:
Coronavirus: Football crowd must isolate after outbreak

My understanding is the free ifollow may be revoked but fans will still be able to buy on a per game basis.

Somebody was asking Ryan what was best for the club financially on twitter, as they wanted to best support the club and he advised buying 23 £10 passes us better financially for the club... And if that's how he wants to support City, that's what he should do.

Any change in capacity which would allow all season ticket holders to attend will be a massive headache. I guess with the claret and amber spilt, people will be in the same seat every game, but then if you bring both groups together that is not possible. It would require a reissuing of season tickets and new seats for everyone to keep to the updated guidelines. Then if they were reduced to to spikes around the country it would mean another splitting.

@Thelittlegerman@Thelittlegerman thats how I understand it. Free access to home games through iFollow will be revoked as all STs will have access to attend all home games.
But games will continue to be streamed via iFollow at £10. It would be ridiculous for the club to cut off this source of revenue.

I am sure I read the EFL/IFOLLOW had put out a statement that when capacity over 50% is allowed by the government the free pass will end. It's not on am individual club basis but only when the guidelines allow for more than 50% attendance.

If you've bought a season ticket you get access to all 23 home games throughout the season regardless. The FAQs were very clear in that...

That's not how i see it. The club has sold a season ticket that allows access to all games via attendance and ifollow. I've not paid to have to pay again, that's what a season ticket means.

Yep, they can't change that once you've bought one. You are entitled as a season ticket holder to be able to watch every match albeit not be actually be at them all.
