Bloody hell Fordy......Holmewood having a beach is the most positive, optimistic post on this thread......Holmewood, the Newquay of the north, who’d have guessed it!!

This football club and the owners / most fans of it are of the same ilk as the parents who think their kids deserve a medal just for taking part and the teachers who think all kids should get an A* just for trying their best. Or the Corbyn supporters who think everyone’s wage should be the same.
There are winners and losers in all aspects of life and sadly this football club is predominantly regarded as losers.

Only because of the way it's ran though with the excuses it makes.

As much as say Park and some others are positive on the pitch when it comes to progression off the pitch they don't believe in it or don't believe it can happen. So really they are a fake.

Like them parents that tell their kids "Don't go above your station"...This is why I think Rhodes needs to urgently go because he's taking us nowhere. It's clear he can't take us to the next level.

We need to stop acting like losers and start acting like winners. I believe when Rhodes goes and maybe get a new owner we will be fine but until then this club will suffer.

Supporters can live wherever they choose, personally I want some feel good factor/pride/swagger to return to Bradford City and to enjoy the football on offer, not to feel slightly embarrassed when asked ‘Who do you support’, which unfortunately I do right now.

I wish I could trust the club to do the right thing but it’s been a horrible journey under Rahic/ Rupp / Rhodes, and I don’t see an end in sight, so for that reason they can expect to come in for some criticism.

Kitchen conveniently forgetting we are in the khazi league. He'd be positive if we dropped out of non league never mind the football league.

As my glass is always half full I am generally a positive person but am finding it difficult to bring anything ultra positive but here goes.

We haven't finished our summer signings yet, so could be some good players still to come in.

The 3rd kit is really nice

ST purchased today, did not get the usual buzz when renewing I have to say and looking forward to seeing the lads on IFollow.

For the time being I wont have to sit and listen to half the row in front moan and groan at every single fecking mistake made by a city player and I mean every single fecking mistake. They are in uproar in unison. They must practice during the week throwing their arms in the air and looking skywards showing communal disbelief and despair. They even swear in tandem. It's comical really.

I don't live in Bradford and yes Supporters can live where they please but I would say when it comes to Bradford many have the connection for sure but do the over positive really care? I don't believe they do. The likes of Park can say all these positive things but he just goes to the game and goes home. He has no connection with the city.

To be honest I think this is why some of the players don't care. They live in Leeds and it's just a job to them.

Our owner is Germany somewhere and Rhodes is in hiding. It's one of the reasons people think training at a school is acceptable - they don't care about the improvement of Bradford as a whole! They care about themselves!

Even the league 2 pocasters see us as uninspiring, so far i've seen us predicted to finish 9th and 10th. The defence as it stands will be our undoing and will see us finish mid table unless new recruits are brought in.

Thats not really fair on Park Fordy, if i had the chance i'd live on the east coast. In fact i'll wager a fair few of our fans don't live anywhere near the cesspit of Bradford.

    It's fair mate.

Ok, you can be all positive and light if you don't have to see the dirt everyday.

If he was in East Coast and understanding the lack of development from the club then fine. It's ok being in a Villa and not having to worry about those on a council estate.

He goes to the game - goes home miles away that's why he can be all positive...It's just a game to him. To others it means more.

Look, I don't live in Bradford either and the club will mean more to others than it does me but anyone that's positive about Bradford City are fooling themselves...The club is a shambles..It's a losers club at this minute but all can change once Rhodes and others go.

Where he lives makes no difference to his opinion on the club, i don't usually agree with his outlook on most things Bradford City but to be fair to him he puts the miles in to support his team. I do agree with the sentiment in your last sentence though. At the moment Bradford City feels as flat as a witches tit. I know Covid isn't helping but the overall feel of the current goings on is that of a club happy to just tread water, almost relieved that the salary cap has given them a ready made excuse if the shit hits the fan. We were a club with a losers tag until Parky gave the club its soul back. And its something McCall has to do again after 3 seasons of abject failure, i'm just not sure the appetite for that to happen from above McCall is really there.

It’s a difficult city to get passionate about these days due to certain postcodes, but one I still love, not the one I grew up in - I made my exit 15 years ago.

if someone’s positive about all things bcfc then good on them but they can’t expect the rest of us to share that view especially in the current climate.

Childish comments like ‘Bye Bye’ don’t do Park any favours.

Yeah since rahic revealed himself as a massive mentalist egomaniac and got us relegated, somethings been proper missing in terms of the soul of the club. VP has no atmosphere (pre covid, definitely none now), whereas before it was genuinely a great experience turning up with 16k other fans all going mad. No excitement, im not looking forward to any of it this year and thats been my feeling for the last few seasons now. The relegation season actually hurt emotionally having to go and watch such spineless performances week in week out. Rahic, Rupp and everyone else involved has done a great job of sucking absolutely all the joy out of being a Bradford fan
