Well some of that season ticket money will have been received in January. Do you think it’s sitting in a bank somewhere , ringfenced for next years budget whilst the club currently has no income? Hmmmm

 

I’d imagine the players still need paying.

 

If there allowed 6k inside stadiums why not just double the season ticket prices to £300 therefore probably half of the people will buy em unlike if they was £150 and you would bring in exactly the same revenue! Then next season the ones who paid £300 could get £50 off/free flexi card?

 

Why? Who says the price is going to £149 now.

 

All true but seems the players are not taking a pay cut, Rupp could cover, EFL can help... I am not getting why it's down to the fans to help out at this moment.

Unless Rupp has given Stuart a transfer budget for the coming season when ever that starts I would think that the money from any season tickets bought recently for season 2020/21 would not have been used to pay players etc, that should have been from season 2019/20 budget.

 

I doubt very much after offering next seasons ticket prices at £149 the club wont honour that price.

 

I agree mate and that I wouldn't blame them on. I think the club does need to increase cost for next season no matter what.

 

Season 2021/22 you mean, who knows what situation we will be in by then, we may be league one in which case Rupp could see £149 as too cheap which most would agree, if he wants the club to go forward an increase would be one option as well as Rupp making funds available.

You think we have 6000 fans willing to pay £300 for league 2 football when there’s a risk of 2nd wave of Covid in the winter ? Don’t think so
