Refund?

Lincoln. Employed some young managers that had an idea, an ethos. Used some bonus unexpected windfall cash to improve the structure of their club for future generations.

What a load of tripe you always saying the club don’t communicate they have been communicating with fans from day one of this epidemic.

I am not one for @Fordy117 conspiracies about finances but he is right on this one. As @Tolly856 also says it’s a pointless survey and is not needed. Just ask the fans who have season tickets and no one else. The “public” do not matter on this. Each fan who has invested money in a season ticket needs to be asked what they want to happen to their circa 32 quid. Let them decide and move on with processing it ASAP.

 

And the majority will probably be in your boat too. Which is fine but ask the right people. That’s all we are saying

 

This is what City should have done.

 

Bradford City need to do the right bloody thing and like @How says send each season ticket holder an email asking them what they would like to do with the money that they are entitled too. People like @YungNath might need the money or some might want to put the money towards companies or people that need it more than Bradford City or the NHS!

 

I've had some good news on the job front recently mate, so my own situation should improve provided things re-open at some point in july. The chain that owns where i work has bought a beer gardeny situation venue to run over the summer to keep us in regular work and stop the other place going under by keeping some sort of money coming in.

Needless and time consuming? Would take the same amount of time it takes to write a story for the bcfc website and then send it to all. Not difficult

 

Thanks, its been difficult but that news has taken a lot of weight off my shoulders. It was always very much a last resort for me so I don't think I'd take it now things have changed for. Never too proud to look a gift horse in the mouth but I also don't want to take the piss

Not at all bud but I need to see how things play out a bit first. I wouldn't feel ok accepting it if I wasn't absolutely desperate and with my change in circumstances I shouldn't be anymore.

The club should email season ticket holders and offer them their money back. It's the right thing to do!

 

Anyone wanting their £32.60 refund for missing 5 matches is not a real City supporter. If the club have to refund thousands of supporters it could bankrupt the club.

 

Disagree mate. Rupp is worth around 100m. He can afford it.

 

Rupp is not a fan, he is a businessman. He bought the club for the sole purpose of making money.
I don't mind him getting a return on his investment as long as I am getting what I paid for, but if I can't get what I paid for then why should I help him make money.
It's ok saying the club needs the money and I can understand why people think that, but do you think that if we became successful and made money he would share any of the profit with us because I don't.

Mr Rupp is a business man and should expect his portfolio to fall as well as rise the club is not making money for him and probably never will he has the option to either fund it or get rid
As for refunds I really can't be bothered going through the refund process but would also hope the club make some kind of donation to a needy charity rather than treat it as an unexpected bonus problem with that is I firmly believe the money has already been spent
How many on here would return goods to a shop if components were missing it's the same thing really but not just as easy process
Our chances of winning the Champions league are as good as getting a share of any profit the club may make its a one way system always has been

 

I think some of my prior posts will explain why I think that's a moronic statement. The vast majority wont need it and will say no, those that do will be a tiny percentage of people who are most likely desperate themselves and need the money for bills etc, like my own situation before it changed.
