Great to see Karl, the French teachers & parents obviously have faith in what the government and schools are doing.
Where as many British parents are saying they wont risk their children going back, and the teachers unions are saying the conditions are not right for their members to go back, sadly it looks like an up hill battle over here.

Abysmal. Not even close to 100k tests a day. We best hope the virus fizzles out as it seems to be doing naturally. This government cannot cope or meet any targets they set themselves.

 

As the virus has gone on their handling of it has got worse to a point where they've just given up, hoping if they pull the duvet ovet their heads it will miraculously go away on its own. Reminds me of watching Bowyers tenure as City manager.

 

Wonder if Durham police investigate every complaint about the rules so much.

If you promise the earth then don't deliver you're gonna look way more of a fool than if you'd just admit in the first place that you couldn't do it. But then the organisation of this whole saga from start to where we are now has has been utterly farcical. To a point where how can we trust them anymore. And this isn't the fault of the electorate who voted them in, they didn't vote for this level of feckwittery.

This is the fault of men and women incapable of doing the jobs they are employed to do, serving the people of this country to an effective level, yet seemingly untouchable and unaccountable for their actions. I know this country has been going down the pan for decades but every year we seem to be able to drop the bar lower than what the previous incumbents had set it.

What a shambles.

 

reminder - it was 100k people tested per day, not just simply 100k tests done.

also - there is currently no evidence to show how if the test is a postal test, the testing site which receives it after completion knows that it has already been counted (as postal tests are counted when sent out and not received back) and they are not counting it again.

 

Meanwhile, away from the media circus that is the corona virus, crazy scenes in Barrow right now with hundreds of car horns being sounded in support of the young girl involved with the latest grooming gang scandal.

If you are not testing people for the 100k tests, who are you testing?
