Morning. I’m confused with what’s happening with the footie, i’d have thought every league however low, following the same rules would be the way to go. Liverpool are the problem, no one wants to deny them the title, because I think I’d be tempted to have completely voided the season, or wait and finish it and the following season would have to be delayed or shortened. i must admit I feel more sympathy for the potential relegations than clubs at the top, it’s like a double whammy, financially.

From what I've read the problem is with relegation in the PL. If they did an average points thing then Liverpool would still win the title.

The problem in the lower leagues is around promotion and relegation. Seems like the division two team have been pretty sensible aside from the ridiculous ask on no relegation.

 

should have worded it better. Liverpool being so far ahead is the issue, if you give them the title it seems logical you have to do similar with everything else - relegation, championship promotion etc. But surely the rules have to apply across the whole pyramid? I have much more sympathy for all the relegation threatened clubs, there’s a lot to lose based on an unfinished season where there was still plenty of points to play for. You have to treat everyone the same imo but it’s just self interest and money clouding things. I’d just delay it or void it completely. The next season should be done as 5 a side to get it over and done quicker

Rough day so far, everybody seems to be in a bad mood - except me!

 

Going 'back' to work in 9 days like I haven't been working while having the kids at home. Just spotted that Nicola has pinched a week of my holiday too having the kids back in from 11th of August. That's me and her finished.
