In a further attempt to get a performance out of Devitt and also as Forest Green have been one of the better teams in the league over the first 4 matches of the season we have dropped a striker and added a 3rd CM. That should hopefully prevent their number 10 Bailey from getting space and pulling the CB's out of position. So Devitt drops into the CM 3. Connolly takes up the right-wing position and Guthrie drops to the bench.

I have a major problem with this game and that's the thumbnail. Forest Green are apparently based in Nailsworth. Wikipedia list the notable people as

• Mary Deverell (1731–1805), sermon writer, poet and playwright, died here.
• Joseph Edkins (1823–1905), translator and missionary to China, was born here.
• W. H. Davies (1871–1940), Newport-born tramp poet, lived here from the mid-1920s until his death.
• Michael Bichard, Baron Bichard (born 1947), civil servant, is from Nailsworth.
• Pete Reed (born 1981), Olympic rower, was brought up in Nailsworth.

Not exactly the best list of people for the title card image. They don't even have any well-known players or ex-players.

 

Damn such an obvious choice. Why didn’t I think of it
