    I did consider playing him in his preferred position on the right but as he is also natural in the AMC role and because of Pritchard preferring an ML role rather than AML I'm leaning towards using him central. I will train Pritchard to play further forward as well as training a few of the other wide players to play higher up so a more attacking version of the formation, perhaps with 2 strikers does become an option.

    I guess the statistics may make selection of some players more preferable than others. The only one I was a little surprised at, was that Henley, who I thought was a right back, was getting the left back berth before Wood.

    He can play on both sides which is useful when there is a lack of fullbacks. Wood picked up a knock in a preseason game against qpr so misses the start of the season

    Just an update on this. Entry for the first game will probably go up on Saturday with the first match 'kicking off' Monday at 8pm. I'm getting a few matches in the can as playing the matches and editing the video take a little time so I'm getting making sure I'm a couple of matches ahead so if I get overloaded with work or I get the virus I can have the match videos and the entry threads pre-scheduled so you shouldn't notice

    I might have to push the entry opening to tomorrow. I have a video letting you get a quick overview of the squad rendering out but it's taking a little while. You can in the meantime go and check over the new forum for it at

    Where the rules have been posted (There is a tweak to the entry format from the actual one that some of you may want to be aware of) and also I have posted screenshots of every player in the City Squad so you can have a look over their attributes to help you decide which players you think will perform best. If you need any help interpreting these images just let me know on that thread and I can give you some additional analysis
