Over last 5 seasons, you'd need 72 points on average to get the 7th place. 18 points from 10 games needed to stick to that, in the reverse against the those 10 we managed 13 points. It's do-able.

Our record against teams above us in the league this season is 15 points from 33, 4 wins in 11. Playing 4 play off/auto contenders in a 5 game/3 week span will be the decider. If you build form around that time, recent history shows the form team goes up.

    Salford (10th) A Draw
    Orient (19th) H Win
    Port Vale (7th) A Lose
    Macclesfield (23rd) H Win
    Exeter (3rd) A Draw
    Colchester (8th) H Win
    Forest Green (11th) A Lose
    Crewe (2nd) H Draw
    Northampton (6th) A Win
    Walsall (15th) H Win

18 points, ending on 72. Unbeaten at home on the swamp for the rest of the season.

We could defend early season - we had the best defensive record in the division up to early January. No players have left, so clearly we can defend again

Just because something's been bad for a while, doesn't mean it always will be

Had a look what's happened in recent history play off wise, back to our PO winning season. Below are the teams that made it to Wembley those years. Team in bold won the game.

    18/19 - Newport 12th (6 points off 7th), Tranmere 6th
    17/18 - Exeter 6th, Coventry 8th (3 points off 7th)
    16/17 - Blackpool 15th (8 points off 7th), Exeter 6th
    15/16 - Wimbledon 8th (1 point off 7th), Plymouth 3rd
    14/15 - Southend 6th, Wycombe 3rd
    13/14 - Fleetwood 6th, Burton 4th
    12/13 - Bradford 12th (9 points off 7th), Northampton 5th

Side that ends up going up has been no higher than 6th place on March 3rd of those seasons. Only once in the last 5 seasons has a team in the play offs by March 3rd and also gone up. Teams finishing 6th & 7th appeared in the most finals, with 6th place being in 5 of the 7 finals, 7th being in 4 finals.

You confuse me sometimes? You slag 99% of anyone representing the club but somehow Josh Wright gets a pass when he did nothing in a City shirt to earn any sort of respect or a free pass? One of the worst signings we've ever made. Atrocious player but somehow he's rated by you? I must've missed the games you saw him set the world alight because my opinion is he's garbage and deserves whatever reception the fans decide to give him as he gave nothing back in the shirt. He's a winner and couldn't wait to blame everyone else but himself. Typical mercenary.

See you're totally missing the point.

It just didn't work out for him here, so what? It's football, it happens!

I would never slag players off at games. This is a forum and a way to express opinions. I see no point at games slagging players off.

I would never attack someone in person.

As for Wright it wasn't him that did the deal with Bradford. It wasn't Partrick that did the deal with Bradford, it wasn't Akpan that did the deal with Bradford... if Bradford City don't do recruitment correctly then blame the club! Don't blame the players!

As Wright himself he didn't shy away from situation and was available for selection. Did he do a Reeves? A Pogba? NO!

People are quick to use Edin as an excuse but forget the players suffered as well like they suffer under Rupp not taking the club forward.

Also, Collins, Hopkin and Bowyer - 3 extremely poor managers to work for. The club hired these managers not the players and not Wright.

So, blame the Club! Take your anger out on the real problem!

Is the pitch his fault as well?
Is that we sit 9th his fault?
Is that we train at a school his fault?
Is that we don't own our stadium his fault?

I just never get booing or wanting to take out frustrations on ex players unless they join Leeds..

Concentrate on the the club and it's improving its failings to move forward.

Why don't you email the club and ask if you can walk out with the teams then you can hold his hand whilst smiling lovingly at him.....

Why don't you write to Rupp and ask him why he doesn't give a monkeys about Bradford City?

I've no problem with Wright or any player.

Because I've know for a while rupp doesn't give 2 fecks about Bradford city so why ask him what 99% already know ?
And does that also mean you won't be moaning about players from now on seen as you don't have a problem with any players........ That should last long (not).

Because he owns the club? Wright and the players don't.

Ha no, i won't moan at players in games as it's pointless and it's even more pointless if it's an Ex player.

But he isn't interested in the club probably just hanging around till he can recoup some of the money he spent buying the club but he certainly won't be parting with any more.

Well you can't blame the players for lacking in hunger to drive the club forward then.

The thinking in my mind, is not odds related but Crewe are a good team, I believe our season will be all but over by then and that the ooc may not give two hoots, whilst some others may be all ready on the beach, metaphorically.

Are Crewe better than Port Vale or Forest Green whom have beaten us at home? Plus I think some of our fans get beyond themselves forgetting the bloody obvious, that we are not overly good....

Crewes away form is abysmal at the minute. Two win s away in 12 and one of them was against bottom of league Stevenage

Plymouth showed last night what a different team they are on a decent surface. I guess we should cross our fingers and hope that every pitch we play on till the end of the season looks like the Somme.
