Listening to rain and looking at forecast, I’d be surprised if this game goes ahead.

I think you might be right, heavy snow showers tomorrow and action replay on Tuesday. Stuart will not have been able to do anything today fields were flooded. Do we have a standby plastic? Pitch will be like a mud bath. I think it will be no bad thing if it is cancelled. Give Stuart a bit more time to work with the players

10% chance at best of it being on. Suits me it’s going to be a pain in the backside to get there on Tuesday

Cambridge game will also be off so it’ll be a big gap to next game at Newport

    Most probably a waterlogged pitch

Wow it's not even raining now and some of you don't want to leave your house.

@Keefly Bantam@Keefly Bantam has been walking the streets doing his walk of shame for the last 12 hours.. if he can do it anyone can!

    The game will be on!

Lots of rain about but I don’t think we’ll see much snow around Valley Parade. If the pitch isn’t waterlogged, I’ll be surprised.

But if the game does go ahead, I don’t see the changes that some are suggesting. Ben isn’t a great footballer but he is a decent defender. He won quite a bit of ball against James Hanson, so I can’t see Stuart dropping him for Paudie.

Jake Reeves had his best game in a while. I’m not sure why some want him dropping. He and Callum performed fairly well together. Our issue was in the wide areas where both Harry and Dylan Connolly had zero end product. I can see the other Dylan starting in front of him and possibly (if fit), Jamie starting instead of Harry.

But I don’t see any other changes.

Everton has played more matches than Paudie and made fewer mistakes. Agree with your other changes.

Checking the weather forecast suggests to me Tuesdays match will be called off. The pitch is already in a poor condition.

Just thought Everton was poor on the ball and if you want to play 4-4-2 attacking then you need players good on the ball

Might we don't play at the local park... it will be on. The covers would of been on since Saturday. Not as if we didn't know this weather was coming.

BRE was rubbish on Sat, Hanson totally dominated him 1st half. AOC switched to him 2nd. I did however like the fact that we weren't interested in playing the ball around at the back like we did under GB.

I don't think he is getting a pass just because it's McCall, any new manager would have been given the same due to recent performances.

That said I do agree that we are aiming for promotion, if this isn't achieved it should be considered a failure but there would be several to blame and whilst McCall should shoulder some of the blame - he will be by no means the main contributor.

I'd like to see BRE out for Paudie, Connolly out for DMH and Middleton in instead of Pritchard. Don't think Pritchard really didn't anything wrong (or right) just think more width would be beneficial.

Anyone any idea on the state of the pitch? Do we have rain covers and how long can they be kept on for before it starts to effect the grass?
