@Park bantam@Park bantam your saying this through gritted teath. You despise him. We have seen the comments in various boards.

I remember Claret and Banter and the OMB

What is really the proof in the pudding however is the contrast to how you backed rahic and every other manager when 95% of the board at that time saw different.

Can we look back over his previous posts, to see if there’s any German typos in his spelling? It’s all becoming clear now :)

I think we know what style we will play under McCall. Usually a quite attacking 4-5-1 with a decent amount of the ball. We have a strong enough defence when they are confident to cope with it. We have reeves in the middle who if he has people to find with the ball will be an asset.

Novak up front as target man with the new lad from Rangers playing off of him? Seems a McCall signing that one which is a bit naughty. Then Devitt can play the law role of the inverted type winger?

well put, stability is key. We done this with lawn and rhodes and steadily improved year on year. Stuart was 90 minutes from the championship. That summer Rahic acted like the professional he is. A complete looney (even if park bantam disagrees) and its been downward since.

Time for stability, hopefully (if McCall?) can get a tune out these players. And if not allowed to bring in his own.

I don’t hate him at all I have met and talked to him on several occasions and he is a lovely bloke. And he is up there with the best players I have seen following the club.
Yes so far I haven’t rated him as a manager because his success record doesn’t warrant it. Perhaps it is beyond your power of reasoning to understand to separate criticism of him as a manager with him as a person.
Like everybody else on here I hope and pray his sixth attempt is successful he has all the advantages

I think this is the first post of yours that I have agreed with.

McCall is a City legend and a genuine supporter of the club and for that I would always welcome him back, but I do not rate him as a manager despite there being mitigating circumstances last time around. That said he did have us very close to the Championship playing some entertaining football at times.

If anyone deserves another chance then it is McCall, my choice would undoubtedly be Warnock though.

If you have the money they are still taking bets on McCall as manager. Very low odds but some seem certain. Better interest than at the banks

Think ot will be McCall, he will definitely get spirits up again, and hopefully play attacking football, wouldn't mi d Warnock though, ot even better Wornock and McCall, unfortunately I cannot see us being g able to afford both

Let's be honest, if Warnock hadn't made his remarks a few weeks ago, he would never have been on that list. He has an excellent track record in terms of getting teams promoted so it's understandable people are going to vote for him but if he wasn't an option, how many that voted for him would have gone for McCall instead?

ha ha, you cant help yourself?

he was a novice on his first go, and did no worse than many experienced managers at that time. On his second stunt we all seen the positives apart from you and a few others. He took us within 90 mins of the championship, who else since our fall from this league done likewise? And yet you dont back. Its personal with you.

I remember you sticking up with Jim Jeffries saying his legs had gone as a player. Only for Warnock to take him to the blunts and have him play alongside brown and deliver them to the premiership. Even when he came back as a united player and score against us you would not give him credit.

At the time you were singing the praise of Jeffries and every manager since apart from Stuart.

    Its personal. End of.

No way of knowing, but 15% is hardly a ringing endorsement. As I said yesterday, Stuart will divide opinion.

But isn't that the point, realistically he should be way out of our league and price bracket - but due to his personal circumstances is now a genuine possibility?

It's almost like being offered Europe's leading goalscorer for free on a plate

Ferguson is a classic example of not planning in the sunshine! No succession planning, because he was bigger than the club! If ever there was lazy analysis of Stuart blaming others this is it. He wasn’t asking for the earth, just one player and to be left alone!
