I'd agree if the odds were better

Wouldn't surprise me. He gets on fine with Rhodes, it was always Lawn he had a problem with

I could see a Warnock/McCall stint with Stuart taking over at the end of the season - I'd admire him for that, it would be good for him to take a step back, work with Warnock and be a better manager

Not convinced anyone who manages at Scunthorpe under their Chairman can be classed as a failure. Mark Robins been a classic example and why they ever got rid of Graham Alexander, when they had no ambition to appoint a known successor defies logic

Arguably, the one club in the pyramid, more badly run than us ;)

I doubt Warnock would be too much - offer a respectable wage coupled with very good bonuses for play-offs and promotion. Improved form to achieve those would boost season ticket sales so it would be mutually beneficial.

I agree with both points, he should have stayed with Luton but he left for one reason, ££££'s and why not? He took on the Stoke job and failed very badly.

I’m fairly confident it will be Warnock, well confident enough to put £100 on it at 3/1.

    Warnock said in January 2020,

“I would like to be able to contribute to a club, either saving it or getting it up.”

I might have to go to League Two or something like that, but why not? It doesn't bother me what division I am managing in," he added in an interview with BBC Radio Wales breakfast.

"I just think I will go to the end of this season. We are doing quite a bit of renovation at the house in Cornwall and it will be finished at the end of the season.

"So I think Sharon [his wife] will be happy for me to be out of the house for a few weeks!

Some clubs are diseased. Jones stepping up meeting big egos on their way down not a good match. One job doesn't determine a manager. Look at Howe at Burnley

I’d like us to go for an upandcoming like the Harrogate manager.
Nathan Jones would be fine by me though

The similarity between this and the McCall sacking is striking. I'm no fan of Bowyer but I hope to God we don't fumble around making the same mistakes this time around. Can't help but feel that this next week is utterly crucial.

Totally Warnock for me, he is under no financial, professional or personal pressure and has nothing to lose, his reputation is solid. We are in a right mess and others will flounder just like Bowyer.

I fear this will be like the Grayson situation last season if we appoint Warnock .

I think he will flounder less, he has experience, and freedom so more likely to succeed.

Bang on. And a manager who isn't really all that bothered about the job, just wants his 1500 game milestone. Absolute no for me.
