    Still... he didn't exactly play with a complimentary player, we got our mix of styles all wrong.

    I don't know...

    Quite frankly I struggle to remember his presence on the pitch. So one of those players who moves around the pitch (perhaps trying to avoid the ball), when it comes to him he releases it quickly often backwards, but in an understated style, so he doesn’t stand out. How about chameleon, on the basis that he blends into the background and you don’t notice him.

    Supposed to be a cultured passer, I think. Not up for the rough and tumble, which none of our midfielders have been this season, that's why the balance has been all wrong.

    Unfortunately his short-to-mid range passing game has been off lately, think his head has dropped.

    Think he needed a change, definitely seems a confidence player.

    Like Doyle, Palmer worked under Wellens at Oldham so I presume he knows what he’s getting.

    We’ve got a very bloated squad now as there have been no departures.

    Anyway, good luck to you lot - which I mean - and hope things are looking up soon.
