    Hi all,

    Long term reader - first time poster.

    I know this question has been asked to death on this forum before but is someone able to clarify.

    Some bugger swiped my wallet last night in Manchester (I was lucky enough not to be at the game) and my season ticket for this year was inside.

    I am just waiting for a crime reference number from the fuzz - does anyone know how I would go about getting this replaced and if there is any costs attached? I've read somewhere that the club ask for the full price of the ticket but surely if mine has been stolen this isn't the case.

    Thanks in advance for your help.

    I'm pretty sure if you have a crime reference number it's only a £5 admin fee or something like that.

    If you contact the club and give them the crime number I am sure they can replace it with an admin fee. If you contact Mick Lamb very helpful.

    When they find the season ticket they'll probably send it back to you knowing no one will even take it for free.

    Reminds me of an acquaintance i once knew who was a Walsall supporter.He had his jacket,which had his season ticket in it stolen in a pub.He never got the jacket back,but the thief discarded the season ticket just a few yards from the pub.

    Are you going to claim your wallet on an ‘all risks’ insurance policy, normally part of a household contents insurance package? If you are you could include the replacement cost within that.

    Should've had your season ticket visible from the outside of your wallet. They wouldnt have gone near it.

    Here's the ticket Ts & Cs you need.. Mick Lamb is always extremely helpful in sorting out queries without any hassle.

    6.3 - If, in the Club’s opinion, a Season Ticket is damaged, lost, stolen or destroyed, a duplicate Season Ticket shall be issued by the Club as soon as reasonably practicable after the payment of a non-refundable administration charge (£15). In making its decision, the Club shall be entitled to call for all reasonable evidence of the need for a replacement Season Ticket, for example but not limited to a police crime reference number if a Season Ticket is stolen, or a copy of the damaged Season Ticket. You will be required to sign a document confirming that the original Season Ticket is damaged, lost, stolen or destroyed and indemnifying the Club against any direct or indirect consequences of such matter having been falsely represented or stated to the Club. If the original Season Ticket is found after the duplicate is issued you must immediately return the original Season Ticket to the Club.

    Thanks all - rang up the club and they're going to replace for £15, might turn up to the next home game and some scally from Piccadilly Gardens might be sat in my seat
