Yeah, in truth it was a bang average game of football where neither team looked much threat with a full compliment. They had the ability to move the ball well but actually looked less of a goal threat than us if thats actually possible. Big effort in the second half after Devitt's stupidity, thought Cheltenham were crap second half and completely played into our hands. The less said about the ref the better. Draw a fair result.

 

Did people really want us to lose last night? I know people wanted it so Bowyer would get sacked which i understand, and i was starting to lean that way myself a bit.
But as i drove home from work at 915 and listened to the last 15 to twenty minutes of radio leeds commentary i was still urging us to hang on and was genuinely gutted when they equalised, but it did sound like it was just a matter of time to be honest

 

Attendances do usually drop a little for midweek games but that is the lowest crowd I have seen for a league game for sometime, I would estimate at around 7,000 at most.

This is a massive week for GB and the club, the timing of the window closure is probably giving GB more time in post - however if the crowds continue to dwindle then JR/SR simply have to act.

I believe Bowyer is a good man manager - as shown last night, there was no sign of any lack of togetherness on the pitch. That alone deserves praise, when you consider how bad team spirit was last year

He had a 1 win in 11 spell, at Blackpool, during January and February as well and the team still got promoted. That under the worst ownership ever, The Oystons

He's lost some of the fans. You forget that there are a lot of City fans that I've talked to frequently during the last 40 years, who simply aren't as put out as clearly you are

Parky had the exact same problem 7 years ago and the exact same criticisms. Guess which two 'happy clappers' were some of the few to state we needed to give him time? And remember what happened the following season

We can go the Scunny route of 8 managers in 6 years and dropping about 12 places over that time

I find it hard reading threads like this, When you get fans bloating on about , " It's my club, I'll go through the good times and bad times" blah blah blah. Well let me tell you something, It isn't your club anymore, Bradford city died when the ex owners let us all down and sold the club to any tom dick and harry when they promised us they wouldn't, then the disrespectful behaviour towards loyal employees who were bradford through and through.etc. I really cant understand where you are all coming from when you think our problem lies with Bowyer or what ever hes called. Its above him where the problem is. By going to the games is not doing any favours to the club name. Personally I hope they go bust and we form a new bradford city and start at the bottom again, where we are part of the club once again.

I would never want us to go bust or anything but we do need to get rid of Rhodes and Rupp. I understand why he's mad at the moment.

I do believe that Rhodes is mugging fans off to their face and when you think about it Rhodes & Rupp are being disrespectful to fans, past and present.

Fans shouldn't buy their season ticket until Bowyer's has gone.

Maybe, and I hope not, we do need a radical change and away from VP, the ground was about 35 percent full midweek, selling cheap tickets and serving up shite to try fill a ground we don’t even own. Look where it’s got us.

They need to bag two decent signings tomorrow, they have got to send a message out if they are serious about this season and selling season tickets.

what we really need is our cheapskate owner to F off out of our club for good and pronto.

 

Those thinking of not attending, need to think hard. By doing so there might not be an option to do such in the near future. Or the only option that will be open to follow the club is in a far lower capacity than we have today.

 

You imply a picture of financial concern that could lead us out the football league, if supporters do not turn up/renew. Would this be a fair appraisal?

If that is the case, we're is Mr Rupp in all this?

And with no disrespect intended, where and how do you have the capacity to offer such information?
