Absymal goals/games record, horrific injuries and fans have turned on him. Maybe he needs some L2 football to find his feet again. I can imagine he is 'available'.

 

Parky needs a big man, no way he'll let him leave, even if he's only got one leg!

 

I wouldn't class Wyke as a big man at all. He was like 6 foot, 6 foot 1 at the very most. Pretty sure Sunderland will be in for a striker as goals are an issue for them. He could be surplus....

Its unlikely he would return but not impossible. It would create a good atmosphere amongst fans anyway.

 

What use is it gonna be punting aimless balls at him as Bowyer likes to do. Strikers like him and Vaughan need the ball at their feet not 2 foot above their heads for an opposition centre half to gobble up with ease.

We have a good centre forward coming back soon a younger player in his mould is required for cover and competition

 

Would love Wyke back would be a great signing, prefer him to Vaughan who hasn’t had the impact I thought he would for whatever reasons, I thought Wyke had very good feet for a big-ish lad.

 

Does that include keeping Oteh.

 

Oteh cover for Vaughan we need someone as cover and competition for Donaldson

 

Presuming Doyle doesnt come back of course

 

That's what I meaning neither Oteh or Doyle are cover for Clayton Donaldson.

Wyke has never been fully fit. He struggled for fitness with us, he was lucky to pass his medical at Sunderland (who were desperate to sign him), probably the only thing Rahic did right was pressure Sunderland into signing him, though he settled for much less than he was originally quoting

 

Just down to finance, the extra money to pay Doyle his full wages that Swindon wont be paying, and bringing another striker in meaning we have Donaldson, Vaughan, Doyle, Oteh, and A N Other, great if we can afford it one poor challenge and as with Clayton he's out for months.
