    Based purely on our last three performances, I see nothing to suggest City can pick up maximum points - Unless of course they all play as poorly as Newport. I see two wins, a draw and a defeat. Whilst those 7 points would not be devastating, they would still be disappointing, given the opposition.
    We really need to improve the service to the front line, and have more bodies in and around the box. The chasing pack from a month ago are now closing the gap, and the table will be interesting to see once these four games are over.

    Regarding Saturday in the first of these four games with a near full squad of players available I will stick my head over the parapet and hope/predict GB will change the starting formation for the home game against Salford City.

    With this being a home game with the number of attacking players being available there is no reason in my mind not to move to a more attacking (4-4-2) formation hopefully with at least one natural wide player, If GB does indeed change the style of play to hopefully bring an "Entertaining" 2-0 home win, pretty simple really:brig:.

    We have the second best home form in the league and if we can beat Swindon, Exeter and Newport at our gaff, I don’t fear anyone.

    That said, Mansfield have been massive underachievers so far and could be ready to erupt under a competent manager.

    We need to be getting nine points from the three homes given we seem to go into our shell on our travels, but I don’t rate Carlisle.

    I’ll go for wins against Salford and Morecambe and draws against Carlisle and Mansfield.

    So our next 4 matches include 3 home games

    We play Salford, Carlisle, Morecambe at home & Mansfield away

    If you look at the results of our upcoming opponents, of the last 4 matches each team has played their has been ZERO wins from the last SIXTEEN MATCHES they have played!

    we crazy if we dont go for the kill here

    this Christmas period is gonna tell a lot on how this season is gonna go, 4 wins & we are likely to be top

    if we fail here then i dont see us making automatic promotion places, these are the fixtures we should be bulldozing through

    Anywhich way I have little enthusiasm for any of those 4 fixtures. Fact is we should win all 4 games, hit at least double figures in goals and take all 12pts ! ? But we wont ..pub teams but yet we wiil get 5pts
