Reevesy is doing OK

Reeves will be like a new signing for us going into the second half of the season. As Bowyer said last night, they wouldnt be able to afford to go out and sign someone of his quality in January.

Is he out of contract in the summer?. If so, and he proves himself fitness wise, it would be hoped that if we offer him a new contract, he gladly accepts as a show of loyalty after we have looked after him these past 2 years

 

An hour in the tin pot cup against Rochdales kids is very different to League 2 football. Ease him back in. I doubt he'll be starting league games this side of Christmas. Big question now is how his body recovers after a bit of first team football.

what a weird comment. Look after him these past 2 years? The only reason he was out for 2 years in the first place was because was mismanaged. No one gave a fook about him until Bowyer came in, so surely any appreciation should go towards him as opposed to a 2 year spell on the sidelines where he was mistreated for the majority of it?

100% spot on this.. people really do need to chill a bit. Yesterday's match was Mickey Mouse. He isn't superman but the real test will come in real games that have a lot on the line each week.

I also don't think we will see him in league games before Christmas.

A good sign though - he looked mobile, was making plenty of runs off the ball, and his booking was a nonsense - a great sliding tackle where he won the ball cleanly. No hesitance at getting stuck into a 50/50.

 

I would agree Fordy but ahead of him we have Devine,Anderson change my boots its slippy ten times and Akpan.

All have started already, so why not Reeves if fit enough?

Said all along something isn't right about all of this.

No way a player is out for 20 months and comes back in to a squad like he's been injured for a week. No chance.

I've not seen anyone refer to Jake Reeves as being Superman we leave those sort of comments to you.

You said the club are being over friendly but then Tolly says he was mismanaged. The mis management (allegedly) was from the club/Edin by over training him when still injured.

 

What kind of mismanagement caused him to get injured?, just curious because I genuinely cannot remember.

What makes you say he was mistreated for the majority of his time out injured?
