Election 2019 (with Prediction Poll)

LOL no Bronco, he’s not on my Christmas card list, I’m one of those rare electoral anomalies, a conservative voting died in the wool remainer.
my politics were always more Clarke, Lawson and Major rather than Thatcher, Tebbitt and Redwood.
will vote conservative again, albeit with a heavy heart, Corbyn would be an absolute disaster for the country.
I’ve got to say, never ventured onto the general chat page before, some really good well thought out and argued posts on this thread. Didn’t realise we had so many deep thinking fans!!

 

Yes your right there are some very knowledgeable posters on general chat.
A forum dedicated to Bradford City and we can't agree on games we've attended there is very little chance with politics, Labour voter all my adult life but I cant vote for them on their brexit stance alone, and that is sad as I would agree with many of their manifesto pledges, and unfortunately IMO Corbyn is unelectable.

Well it's true.
'Terrorist sympathiser' only cuts one way in your world. Support for liberation movements makes you a terrorist sympathiser, but support for murderous despots who overthrow elected governments with CIA covert assistance is fine and dandy. There's often blood on the hands of all sides but it seems that violence is ok if it's done by the right wing.

 

Goodmorning all , proof if needed that the whole political system in this country is broken . A Conservative government in power who most dont like , Labour should walk this election but they wont . Momentum run the labour party , they promote the politics of envy , isn't it great that at election time they all crawl out from under their rocks and promise this- that - and the other . It was once said " that if votes really counted the political elite would cancel them " . The whole point of the 2016 was to put the EU question once and for all out of the spotlight . The referendum went the " wrong way " and came as a shock to all the political parties . A genie was let out of the bottle , it will never go back in . A major change is required , this country i'm affraid will never be te same again which is really sad . Be careful what you vote for , you may just get it .

Sounds like the Lib Dems are closer to your views these days than what's become of the Tory party, any reason you're not voting for them?

 

Polls already narrowing as they did in 2017, Labour have already halved the gap according to the latest Survation poll. Can only see it getting closer from here. All the money and media influence that the Tories sink into their campaign can't compete with the force of the Labour activists on the streets.

Twice, outside a polling station after voting, as it happens. That’s for exit polls though, so slightly different. I do know you can sign up to YouGov and get £50 every now and then after you’ve done a load of surveys, so @Get Rid Of It probably won’t be too far wide of the mark.
