Have to agree with this, I think weve been distinctly average for the first 3 league games. The scoreline flattered on Saturday. Great result but far from a complete team performance

 

Sorry @Lard Arse I should've said that the sale in January would be to Swindon. If he's banging them in for them then if I was JR I'd be on the phone trying to make a sale. Get them to part with the dollars whilst we've got an asset to sell.
If he gets injured before the end of the season we'll be in a worse position: crocked and we're paying his wages in full.

 

However, Swindon won’t want to sign him in January as they already have him until the end of the season, they can sign him then for nothing he will be a free agent.

 

You can play poorly as a team and win 3-0. Played in loads of games which that has happened.

We were expected to win. We failed to control midfield and a part from Donaldson and Vaughan creating problems for their defence we were poor. Oldham lacked a finisher but overall looked better on the ball than us.

 

Right, think back and name me a game where we have kept a clean sheet and scored three goals. When you find one of these tell me one of them where we played poorly. And don’t say an individual here and there had a poor game, i’m asking for a poor team performance.

I imagine there's a recall clause and if he's banging them in, we could either get him back in Jan or tell Swindon if they want to keep him, they'll have to pay a fee.

 

If Swindon are paying most of his wage, this might not be the case

just a quick update re incomings, on City site GB indicating might get some (not just one) in before Saturday - as he has been quite cautious recently I think this sounds promising. Dont think anything will now happen before tomorrows game, simply because its a long away trip so most of people needed to tie up a transfer will not be about from lunchtime. Fingers crossed

I think he can play on the left too aswell as attacking midfield. I think we will play 5 in midfield across the majority of games. Especially away

 

Exactly why I'd be giving the hard sell to Swindon for a sale in January; we'll have him off the payroll and make little bit of brass too.
There's no guarantee he will sign for Swindon when his contract is up. Another club could come in for him offering a better deal than Swindon could.
Or, as I've said already, he could get injured in February putting him out for the rest of the season. In that scenario we'll end up paying his wages whilst he's no use to anyone.

 

Who have got who is an attacking midfielder at the moment. I mean someone who gets forward and contributes with goals
