Emailed Mick Lamb about a season ticket issue - replied within the hour and issue sorted. Brilliant service again. Top man.

I contacted the generic email address for the ticket office today with a query. They replied within an hour. All issues addressed and sorted.
I've always found the team in the ticket office very helpful and will go out of their way to help where they can.

 

Looks like all Grimsby tickets sold now as no tickets available on website...

Still perplexes me that there will be over 2,000 seats spare for this game but we can't put away tickets on general sale. Surely they should have a section that is empty and rotates between big away followings and home match day tickets.

Surely Grimsby would welcome the extra income.

Depends if they have the configuration to segregate other areas of the stadium in the stand and concourse safely. Also if we have only got 1800 tickets that looks like we've might have got a reduced allocation (probably at the request of the police) if Football Ground Guide is right and the away end can hold 2,200.

 

If it was other way around, like fcuk Id want away supporters in the home end. Think 1996

There won’t be many seats left in the home ends come KO - they’re anticipating 6,000 or so home fans.

 

Just like Doncastor, etc in the 80's and 90's just get in the home end by the seats down the side

I'm a great believer that the first few games in a season count for too much.
The real grind begins about four games in.

I also believe that a poor game does not define you - the way a team reacts and bounces back from any disappointment does, however. So let's start some momentum, not forgetting Grimsby will want to continue theirs.

My heart says a well scrapped 0 - 1 Win, yet the head tells me it's a Draw (again!).
It is expected (nay, hoped !!) that Bowyer will not go with DVD again. I too expect to see a better line up - Yet is it too early for some (minimum pre-season time) ?

 

Even before the result yesterday I thought draw, and I still think that with our first win coming the week after.
