    We can just up his wages and let him sit on the bench for the majority of the latter part of the season.

    Good player but disappointed its a loan. Its a lose lose for us, if he does well he either gets recalled and we have to try and replace him (for free) or we have a Payne situation where we have to pay more of his wages. This is why loans are a bit pointless these days.

    I don’t like the recall option either. But as I say this is better than bringing in an unknown trialist. Loans are vital in lower league football

    I’d imagine if he plays well, we are near the top of the league and have had a little cup run we would bid for him in January.

    Have him and Akpan played together before? I get the feeling that Bowyer likes Akpan so let’s ‘Hope’ he’s better than last season
