    Why?
    They are an English (Northern) club and they won the Champions League. Plus the game is a fundraiser for Stephen Darby's charity. So I ask again why?

    I think you could be correct, the game will have little consequence, as long as both teams have 11 players on at a time it will be a great occasion, then again if we are spanking Liverpool they might try to sneak another player on and make it 12 Vs 11 ;).

    No. The 1995 game was part of the deal for selling the lad Tomlinson to Utd for half a million. I was at the game. Don't rember the score but remember Eddie Youds squaring up to Roy Keane

    but he claimed people would be happy to see a liverpool team made up of u23's. if they are happy with that now, they should be happy with that at any stage in any competition any attend accordingly.

    No it was the season after the fire when as I said we played at Leeds, Huddersfield and Odsal, Ron Atkinson left Manchester United in 1986 and was not at Manchester United in 1995, if my old memory serves me well we won 3-1 on the night.

    Great advertisement for both the foundation and the club. Regardless of the Liverpool team that turn up, we get a battering or if I'm sat next to 50 Bradford Reds I love seeing a full VP - it's a rare thing.
