Have they really got a very good manager. He managed a side on cheat mode financially.

 

We need pace, canny players and free kick specialists to unlock teams - as we know the majority of them come to VP and shut up the shop and then hit us on the break or sneak a goal to our detriment - we have found out this too many times.

 

Players do not just look at the money although that is important they look at the size of the club and the potential and also the location , They then take in to account the signings already made and the reputation of the manager, Based on all of this we have a good chance of signing any player that GB feels we can afford and will improve the team.

 

I used to think like that about Cornwall, Somerset, Devon etc. Until I had a job there during the "off season". Absolutely nothing to do, the locals are all out of business, and there's a bigger drugs problem than Bradford. Plymouth is pretty rough and ready when you take away all the tourists spending money. Unfortunately it's not clotted cream and surfing twelve months a year.
